Lovely Cantonese restaurant. Great for kids, fresh ingredients as always. Place is tiny but cozy, will defiantly be back for their steamed food :)
It was great! Luckily there is photo menu. I had chicken and mushroom on sticky rice, beef with noodles(?) it was yummy. I had sprite as well as it was bit oily for me. But i would like to have the same thing again here. Kind staff

I love the dessert soup here so much, it's yum and delicate. Environment nice and clean. Owner always friendly and helpful. If you feel sick just order a chicken soup delivery, that's pretty awesome.

Very good place with nice food highly recommended. Nice an laid back place, will be coming back. I have to keep writing something to make the review 140 characters long lol 👌👌
well you get more than you bargain for here, really liked the food here and its very cheap!!! i had the roast duck on rice and shared BBQ Pork as a side, both under $20 in total. Definitely will be visiting this place again!
Everytime when I got really sick and want to have healthy tasty food I come here. I order a soup, a lottus leaf dish and a dessert soup if my stomach has the space. I have to say I felt a lot better after eating there. Really good for body, mind, soul. It should b 4 stars but I gave 3.5 because it is not that cheap compare to other Chinese resturant. Easily can go to 35+ ppl.
My best favorite dish there is steamed meat and rice with Lotus leaf. Smell was very nice. Fair price with friendly service. A good place for grabbing meals with low budgets.
I tried this restaurant out as it looks authentic Chinese. It was 9:30pm and the restaurant was open for takeaway (you can dine in as well). The restaurant was clean, tidy and well decorated. The kind lady advised I might not like a particular dish (I'm Kiwi) but it was all delicious.
Went here for lunch because it is starting to get a bit of a rep amongst Chinese people. The Chinese name actually means the Emperor's Soup, as emperors back in the day had many types of soups and stews. As a result, the specialty of Kings Restaurant is the soup. They have a lot of soup, but because there were so many and many I haven't tried before I didn't get any because I was scared. Next time haha!
I got large a pork belly with shrimp paste in tossed noodles for $13 which was quite good for the price. The noodles were tasty and a lot of meat, although it was a bit too salty for me. Since it was pork belly, the meat was made up of a lot of fat. We also got a soup noodle with beef brisket that was a lot less seasoned than mine but was better when you added vinegar, which is on the tables. It was only $10, and I think that it was worth the price, although there was not much difference between a large bowl (mine) and the regular smaller size which is cheaper. It's very affordable and tasty, and the seats are very cute. Service is bubbly and cheerful, and attentive. A lot of people ordered the soup though, so it must be very good.
Wouldn't mind coming back here again!
It says "emperor's soup" in Chinese so soup is the must to order.
With plenty of selection of Cantonese foods and deserts you can have it all in one meal.
Very light flavor, I bet it's pretty good for body healing.
Great location besides Royal oak mall, easy parking.
Authentic home cooked Chinese food. We couldn't figure out what region it came from - it was mostly steamed - but quite an interesting - and affordable - experience.
The food was pretty good here though I probably wouldn't go so far as to say it was amazing. You get good value for your money so it's definitely worth a try.
The wonton soup was delicious and deep fried wonton crispy. Fast service.
We tried this place for the first time a few nights ago. We were greeted and asked how many people in our party, we said 3. Only then to be asked just to look at the menu and decide if we wanted to eat here. The lady (with the glasses) who greeted us was also pushy, not giving us a seat to any table and kept saying in a rude manner to just look at the menu, which I thought was abit rude and my partner thought so too. But other than that minor let down I thought the food was yum. I tried the braised pork on rice and steamed veges. So 4 stars overall.

As a tourist looking for easy, fast, delicious food, I'm glad I stopped here. I had the soy chicken and honey pork with rice, and mango pudding and was very happy with both for under $25, and both delicious. Fast and friendly service too.
Top quality food and soup, A must-visit place.
Very delicious, famous for soups
Great Hong Kong (and Chinese) food. Lots of varieties to suit all budgets ($10 meals, $16-30 mains, etc) and good portion. Nice soup (but pricey) and HK style desserts are available. Really must try in this area. Will go back again since we are living around here.
Yummy. But too much rice and meat.

Braised pork was amazing, service excellent, what more could you want!
This restaurant specialises in clay pot rice. I enjoyed the rich, fatty dried duck on rice.
Authentic dishes. My favorite is the dried Pork, sweet and juicy.
Yummy soup, sweet or savoury. Reasonable prices as well.
Food is good and reasonable but seating is limited
