Excellent takeaway with great flavour and generous portions. Service is friendly and quick. Very limited tables if you want to eat in; definitely more a takeaway. Hidden gem in Sandringham/Kingsland :)
Absolutely delicious Thai, very authentic homemade dishes using very good cuts of meat, fresh herbs and vegetables. We get takeaways as we live nearby, we have had a variety of dishes and each time they have been outstanding. Great friendly service, they even phone us to let us know when it's ready. You can eat there they have 2 tables. This is the 4th Thai Restaurant to occupy this spot and Thai Hut is definitely the best one, in fact it is the best Thai I have had in Auckland.
Cute little takeaway shop for Sandringham locals. But there are also two tables in the small shop to eat there if you wish. Really clean and neat! Friendly service too.
I ordered my usual pad see ew chicken, Thai hot. It was slightly more expensive ($13) than my own local Thai but It was good, so did not mind trying it. Perfect balance of sweet, salty and spicy. Generous servings of vege and chicken too.
Definitely will add this restaurant to our list. The lady is so nice she heard me coughing and offered me hot water and they made heart rice for us. Lovely dinner made my day!
wow I am so satisfied with my food, the workers have given good service and have greeted us with Thai sayings. lots of good food and drink options and all prepared freshly. I highly recommend and will be coming back.

Good food but a bit too dear for a takeaway compared to other quality Thai restaurants. A vegan menu would be very useful to have.

Got recommended this place by a friend and with the thought of supporting our local small businesses, four of us decided to eat in, theres only three tables and we took two lol. Lucky there werent any others eating in as it would be very cosy. We ordere green chicken curry, red chicken curry, pad thai, spring rolls curry puffs, tom yum soup and man was it fast coming out of their small kitchen. My fav is green curry and pad thai chicken of course. Was in and out in less than an hour which worked out good cause theres not alot of 60 min parking opposite. Highly recommend. Thanks Thai Hut.

good takeaway cuisine IM A FAMOUS CRITIC!!! size better than most got the longer plastic cartons, good heat. so perfect if u wanna add your own garden veg. mintar ill be back. 4.7 stars means u know its good. id happily drive the extra ten minutes for better servings thank you i wont forget

Tried Thai Hut for the first time today and loved it! They knew exactly what dishes could be made vegan - which was easy because they make all the mains freshly anyway. Start with main dish and then just add tofu. We paid under 40$ and ordered the spring rolls, massaman curry and pad Thai. It was so much that we ended up taking almost all of the pad Thai home for lunch tomorrow!

Finally , after constantly reading the positive reviews, I managed to reach there last evening. Took a lovely green coconut curry based chicken gravy, requested the friendly smiling host to make it spicy. It turned out to be the most amazing Thai gravy we had till date, and has definitely climbed up my charts to hit the store back again for other dishes. I strongly recommend to try the chicken coconut gravy. Customized just to our state :-). Loved it.
Highly recommend!!!! Ordered through Uber eats, food came very well packaged and was delicious!! New favourite Thai. Look forward to trying the other menu choices in the future, thank you Thai Hut!

I LOVE Thai hut. The food is delicious, the staff are so wonderful, and every time I've gone in there with my baby they have been so accommodating. The portion sizes are generous and they don't skimp on meat.
The prices are good too. This is a hidden treasure !!!

Since the new owner has been taken over this year I had a meal in here almost every week (more than 7 times) with my husband or friends. I don't need to go any other Thai restaurant at all. His food is so yummy. I love how he cooked the vegetables which are very crispy and fresh.
The portion is very good compared with the price and a lot of veges. It is very very tasty. The Ower and staff are friendly
