Nice location, best food! It is the best sushi I have ever had. And you definitely should try TOKYO DELUXE BENTO BOX. It is amazing! It is kids friendly and they are serving vegetarian menus, too.
Love it! The chicken ramen is really delicious. You get to choose to have them spicy if you want. I also love the sushi there. The owners are very friendly as well.
Sushi is very nice because the rice is very tasty and the fillings are very big. I have tried most of the hot foods, Chicken Teriyaki on Rice and Udon are my favourite. The Teriyaki sauce and Udon soup is very unique and very good because their sauces are all home-made without any MSG. Very nice place and kind service.
Came here for lunch, since I didn't know where else to eat at Newmarket. Ordered the Pork Katsu Udon and friend ordered the Chicken Udon. Our food didn't take that long to arrive. So, service was good and staff were friendly. The udon was really nice and not too soft and chewy. However, I think I would prefer the pork katsu to be put on the side, rather than being served in the broth with the udon. This is so that the pork katsu is crunchy, compared to being soggy in soup. It was filling; so portion wise, I wouls give it a thumbs up.
To be fair I got here quite late so choice was limited. They had the usual assortment of sushi with a few suprises (like small mushrooms on rice) all the bits I had were a good size and tasty and made without mayonnaise (which I like) They also had some brown rice options, the staff were very welcoming.
I went there several times because this resturant is close to my swimming pool. I ate different hot food including Salmon Sashimi, Katsu Don, Chicken Udon those are amazing. My favourite is Salmon Sashimi that is awsome so so great. The salmon is so fresh i think they use the freshest not frozen. The food is my best in Auckland. And the people are nice and the inside clean the woman seems really care about food and constomers.

I have been going here at least once a week since I discovered they were open until about 6ish in the evenings which fits in well with my dinner break. They make delicious Japanese hot food and sushi with tender loving care. The owners pay attention to detail with the food and it makes such a difference. I go here for my dinner breaks and I usually get salmon sashimi Donburi and it is the best I have tried in central Auckland (and I have tried many!) Some of the highlights are the good quality salmon, fish roe, seaweed, sesame, and delicious fresh seasonal vegetables. I can't fault it. It is really hard for me to order anything else when I go here to the point of embarrassment on my part : ). The owners are very friendly and welcoming, I have to add that they really do go the extra mile for their customers. I usually arrive to the place quite late, and feel a bit guilty asking them to make me something. I always ask if the kitchen is still open and they ALWAYS say yes, even if they do look like they are about to close. Definitely go in and try one of their meals if you are passing by.
Very nice Japanese restaurant in Newmarket, they offer self service sushi and Japanese hot food, like Don and Udon. I ordered an Oyako Don for lunch today, which had chicken breast and fried veggies with egg sauce, very delicious and healthy, the portion is not big, but enough to me.
