We will be back, we went for a family lunch and everyone left completely satisfied, so this place comes highly recommended with ambience, taste, and price - this is in comparison to the week before spending almost $500 at Wildfire and leaving totally dissatisfied.
Great food and service! We came in for a meal and drinks before the All Blacks game and the staff were very welcoming. They had a function later that night so all the tables were cleared however they were very accommodating and set us up our own private table inside by the fire which was lovely. The food was nicely presented and tasted great. I ordered the fish which was beautiful. The portion sizes on the lamb rump were small for the price but were expected in a venue on the waterfront. Overall great food and service. Would definitely recommend :)
Amazing place!!! Quantity and quality of the food was on point! The steak and the lamb shanks were so flavourful 😍 the music was a little loud that night but other than that, the interior was really pretty! DONT order their spicy chicken wings cos it’s a rip off, $19 for 5 wings. And please double check your receipt before paying if you’re using zomato gold!!
Prawn salad and chicken salad are amazing. So refreshing and healthy. The mushroom risotto is just perfect. Couldn’t be better. Presentation is a bit simple.

Best burger and fries ever. Super crunchy fries and the Angus burger was perfectly cooked. The most friendly waiter that you can get. Location is also the best. Really recommend.
It's more like a bar than restaurant. I didn't expect too much at begining. But service and food both too good, it's actually surprised me. Looks average, but tasty much better. Staffs are really polite and professional.

Spent quality time yesterday evening, view from bar was amazing. Service offered was great, snacks specially the chicken wings was yummy. Thanks Mr Yash for looking after us. Even Mr Nick came to meet the guests, great hospitality. Thank you so much.
We shared an excellent platter of cooked meats and calamari, together with wedges and roasted veg. It was very good indeed, washed down with some wine from the comprehensive list. Desserts were excellent too, all at a reasonable price. One thing to mention: It is at the waterside and once the sun goes down the temperature quickly plummets. Take a jumper/cardigan! Recommended restaurant though, definitely.

Go here. Great service. And I absolutely love how the pour my whiskey. They just pour direct from open bottle where most bars use nip pouring ends. So It ends up being next to nothing in my glass. I mean I get it if bartenders need to measure to build a cocktail or similar. But I just have whiskey straight no ice..no coke. Just straight so what's to measure! Just pour! So well done bartenders at anchor drink and dine. 5 stars just for knowing how to pour a straight whiskey! It's a about time these other bars learnt.

We had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the customer service was excellent. Had the double portion of the lamb shank and my wife had the pork ribs. The meat melted off the bone and the sauces that went along with the dish were mouth watering. We would definitely come back.
My partner and I were a bit hesitant at first due to the original interpretation that the venue was more focused on drinking rather than dining. We were pleasantly surprised at the level of service and quality of food provided. New menu launched last night and the food was amazing, great atmosphere and staff.
Had dinner here last Friday and the food was really lovely. We were served by a nice young lady in the name of Lina and she was very helpful and pleasing when asked about the food and drink were are after. Should add more staff like her. Great add-on for the restaurant! It was such a beautiful sunny day with the view of the viaduct which add more to the ambiance. Would love to go back again.
Went here for dinner on Saturday night (27/05/2017) and was blown away with how well we were looked after.
Had purchased a grab one, so we had the 3 course dinner. We ran out of time for Desert and let them know and they offered us tequila shots instead which was fantastic.
I hate Calamari Salad, and the Angus Sirloin Steak and it was cooked very well and was very nice.
Not sure why the reviews here are only at a 3.8, awesome place, awesome food, awesome staff. Recommend it to all!
I was skeptical about this place as I had read the bad reviews however I thought the menu looked tasty and when they put a grabone voucher out I decided to purchase it. I got the snapper for my main and it was really tasty and was a decent portion, for a entree we got the tempura oysters and again we were pleasantly surprised with how fresh and tasty they were. My boyfriend ordered the seafood platter for his main it was good but a bit small for what you pay for it. Other then that I would recommend this place it has a pleasant atmosphere, the waitress was really nice and friendly, and sitting outside looking at the ocean is a big bonus it's nice and relaxing making for a nice evening.
Excellent quality food with all dishes and friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful location/view, just a little confusing when trying to find it. Buffalo wings and chips is fresh and very spicy. Steak was cooked perfectly. Sticky pudding moist and tasty note:has raisin/sultanas in it - 6.30pm, 16.07.17.
