This place certainly deserves 5 stars. The food here is always a hit and is always full of flavor. The side dishes are usually finished within a minute.
The service here is always extremely friendly and attentive (since they have table buzzers).

I like their food it was yummy and generous portion, staff are nice, welcomed and polite. it wasn't that busy around 8:30pm on Saturday so it was relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed our dinner tonight. Will come back again π

Big portion sweet n sour fried chicken. Ginseng chicken soup is awesome , cozy atmosphere .

This newly opened Korean restaurant is just amazing. I've negatively experienced lots of Korean places around Auckland CBD, and Hwarang is definitely the best one I know so far.
I strongly recommend the grilled dishes (chicken, pork, beef...). The food portion is really satisfying, 98% of the meat
Tanpopo next door was closed so we decided to try this instead. The fried pork dumplings were really good with delicious juiciness.
I ordered the pork kimchi stew. It came out bubbling and was the temperature of the sun. Once it cooled down it was very spicy and tasty. The pork was very chewy tho. W
Iβve been here a couple of times for an evening dinner and both times were great. Food is very well cooked, well served and well priced. The fried dumplings are a most and the beef bbq with rice is also amazing.

Genuinely and pleasantly surprised at the quantity/quality of the food here. At a much more affordable price you get a lot more and tastes better than other korean restaurants in cbd in my opinion.

I ordered grilled dish today. It was a enough portion with three side dishes and miso soup. good taste And reasonable price. I highly recommend.
Great food! Found a little gem here, had the share plate 'auckland chicken' perfect size for 2! will be back to try more :)
