The food was great, a little bit on the expensive side but we enjoyed it. The cocktails were great too, we had the twisted dragon and the Shenzhen cocktails which were nicely done. We had some non English speakers in our group and felt that the staff and service we received weren't very patient with us. Overall a good meal though.
Celebrated my birthday with family for lunch. Came in before peak time and it was peaceful and quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the pecking duck and the Shanghai Mocktail as a treat. The mango sago dessert was refreshing and delicious would definitely order it again!
Great atmosphere, right on top of rooftop. We ordered one of the banquets, food came out at a steady pace, we loved all the dishes, got pretty full by mains, but still manged the dessert. Cocktails a bit of a let down, all served in martini glasses and not much for price. Flavors average. All in all will be back to try some of the other dishes. Staff were great !

Always love coming to White & Wong Newmarket. The staff were lovely and the amazing waiter who looked after us was superb. The Kung Pao Chicken is always to die for and the shaking beef sauce is so yum paired with juicy tender beef pieces. We've narrowed down our fav signature dishes and overall enjoyed all our meals as always. Will be back again soon.
It's a nice place. Ambience is good. But very few vegetarian options. I ordered tofu curry which is $36 without rice and I need to buy $6 rice. I think its bit expensive. I wish they serve rice with the curry as it's not possible to eat by itself
Food was amazing. Atmosphere was great and the trees surrounding the restaurant blocked the views of the street below which made it feel quite private and cozy. The food was presented well and tasted great. Overall 5 stars and the waiters/waitresses were lovely.
Lunch mid week. Plenty of people there enjoying the day but still plenty of space to fit us in with a young baby in a stroller. They found us somewhere a bit out of the way which was good.
I had a hot and spicy soup and my guest had the bao buns. Both dishes well executed, in good time and hot. Service was very pleasant and helpful. A good meal if a little pricey.
Hands down the best food I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was so chill. Our server, Sky, was awesome! She really looked after us and even chatted with us a bit.
The food was absolute heaven. Every single dish we had was so divine, my mind could not compute the amazingness it was. My rating is based on my below thoughts (while I was eating lol)
Food: This is other-worldly, refreshing, tasty, juicy, look at this falling off the bone, sooo finger-lickin good.
Portion size: This is bigger than I thought
Flavours: YUMMMM! My mind is exploding with everything I’m eating. Again…brain can’t compute!
Atmosphere: I’m just chillin, vibing. This is cute.
Overall experience: I have a food coma and I don’t feel bloated or bad about it! 10s, 10s, 10s across the board for me.

First of all, they offered us a good service, and waitress and the manager were very friendly and greeted us at the entrance. Food was nicely presented, some of the dishes were too salty but mostly they were delicious. Oh!! My favourite dish was roasted port cube!! 😋😋 I highly recommend to try this plate. Overall we had a pleasant experience for a lunch here at White + Wongs.

We love the presentation, taste and size of the food. We all enjoyed our order including the drinks. Spacious area, not too crowded and they got separate area for bar. Customer service is great. Food was served on time. Manager as well was accomodating.
Went for dinner today, for Father's Day celebrations, and was really happy with my kid's choice. Everything was great - food, service and atmosphere. While it was windy, the outside seating was quite alright, with the ceiling heater and the enclosement. Great 👍

Food- crispy fried chicken, kung pao chicken and wok fried hapuka was delicious. The sweet corn chicken soup was little disappointing. I personally did not like the broth. It had an overpowering taste.
Ambience- good place for family get together. They have private rooms as well
Customer service- there is room for improvement. Starters and mains are bought together. Tables are quiet small and when all food is bought together there is no place on the table. FOH staff did not adequately inform about how long it will take to prepare the soup. We ordered dumplings for starter. After taking all the order the waiter told us the kitchen ran out of dumplings. So we ordered Tom yum soup. This soup was delivered after the mains was served. The waiter could have informed us that it will take time to prepare the soup from scratch. We wouldn’t have ordered it. Hence the four star rating.
We choosed White + Wong to celebrate my birthday. Had a wonderful night. We were lucky yo have this girl forget to take her name she was taking care of us and making the experience better. The food is never disappointing just love coming to white + Wong
