We went here for the team dinner. We ordered set menu which is $80 pp. They had alternative options for Vegetarian, so it was nice as everyone enjoyed dishes. Dishes were tasty but the portions were very small. I felt like it is just European restaurant, not a Korean fusion restaurant. However, cocktails were lovely.

Hadn't been back for a while but very happy with our lunch here. Yes it's a bit pricey but I'm happy to pay for the flavour and food quality for a nice meal out. Special tip, for the fried wings, ask for the sauce separately as it was quite sweet and we actually preferred the fried chicken by itself/ light dipping.

We tried the lunch flight. Would definitely recommend if you want something special. The portions are just right. Don't expect to be fully satiated by volume, but expect to be satiated by the authentic Korean + western flavour combo. Thank you chefs šŸ¤ŒšŸ¤Œ

Food was good but some dishes seemed to taste kind of adjacent to what we were expecting/hoping for. My partner and I both loved the cucumber and would give it 5/5 stars, the bingsu was also amazing. We didn't enjoy the charred chicken and the espresso martinis were made way too strong, tasted more like spirits than any espresso - the menu does say it comes with both vodka and rum so that might be why? Service was great and the staff were all really nice and attentive. Again, would really recommend the cucumber dish!

Will definitely return here. The food was delicious and looked very pretty. We ordered some deliciousness and then ordered more. The scallop dish was my absolute favorite and my hubby's was the milk bun!! Lā™”ved the Barcelona gin too so refreshing

So so impressed with the quality of food Gochu has to offer! Not a single dish fell short The chicken slider is the most perfect little bite of a beautifully seasoned chicken cut through with a cute pickle on toasty soft bun! The venison is so delicious, with a little crunch texture it is the perfect bite especially with that sauce!! The kingfish is new to me, Iā€™ve never had kingfish crudo drowned in consumme. I felt like I was fishing for the fish but it was lovely and lite The prawns had a gorgeous char, the creamy sauce just compliment the wonderfully cooked prawns ! Yumm!! And my absolute favorite did the octopus, I live for a perfectly cooked octopus and gochu did exactly that, so so well on a beautiful bed of herbs with little morsels of crunch I honestly couldnā€™t fault it if I tried

An intriguing interpretation of Korean cuisine. Even if you are not an avid fan of Asian fusion foods, it is worth a try to keep up with the trends. Overall, it was satisfactory, but we felt it was rather expensive considering the size of the portions.

Amazing food, the eggplant is a definite must try, super crispy and juicy. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly with amazing tangy mushroom ketchup. The most unique oysters I have ever had they were so flavourful. Market fish cannot be slept on, simplicity at its best.

Wonderful dinner, pork ribs were cooked to perfection. Cold noodles are so interesting to eat. Great staff and weā€™ll definitely dine again to experience the rest of the menu.

Food was amazing - the portion looks bit small but it fills me up at the end, staffs were all friendly and well known about the menu, the view was really good it located at the commercial bay level2 like hidden gem - if the weather helps you can see the stunning view to the water front, not too busy compare to the food court at the commercial bay. I would definitely come back for another day. Double recommended!!

A good dining option in Commercial Bay. I wouldnā€™t call it a Korean restaurant but more like Korean-inspired. Thoroughly enjoyed the cold noodles, which is a great option for the summer. My next favourite was the chicken sliders which nailed both texture and taste. The fried chicken was good but not outstanding, Iā€™ve had better. It was still a nice touch to our lunch. The cured kingfish was not my cup of tea. Overall a good experience. Price is a little bit on the higher end but the level of service and food justify it. Our waiter was attentive and lovely.

Wow! Where to begin.. this is one of the best restaurants in Auckland. If you're looking for an elevated twist on Korean food this is the place to go. Kingfish consomme was as aesthetically pleasing as it was delicious. Another highlight was the eggplant, super crispy and the inside is so soft it melts in your mouth. The cheesecake mousse was one of the most interesting desserts I've had. A great combination of rich sweetness with an explosion of refreshing tanginess. Definitely a must-try. Already planning our next visit!

Delicious food, I like the layout of the tables which are around the perimeter. Casual setting great for date night or with friends. Food was all delicious but quite rich and deep fried. The chicken nibbles were very tasty and a large serving to share. Tasty cocktails.

Cool ambience, didnā€™t mind reseating us when a better table opened up after we sat down. Good pace for service! Only gripe is a bit of warning or a heads up on how spicy some of the dishes are would be nice - we were told after the fact a dish we ordered was ā€œone of the spiciest on the menuā€. Apart from that no faults. Great mix of some western classics with Korean flair!

New favourite dish - Market Fish āœØ Whatever that sauce is... that on rice is crazy good! Always good. The XO noodles are deceivingly creamy and I love them (lunch only)... The winner I think will always be the milk bun with buerre blanc sauce. That stuff is soooooo good! Fried chicken is always on šŸ”„ Service: Friendly! They left us to it, but were there when needed, fan of that šŸ˜… Have been multiple times and every time is a good visit! Slowly becoming a regular favourite... Also, I saw the new ads they had in bus shelters and just like that, I had to visit again

Pretty good view if you can get a table at the corner. Food was pretty decent but make sure to check out the menu before sitting if you're after the authentic Korean cuisine
