Great place to stop by for a drink and/or a light meal. Good atmosphere. Highly recommend the fried calamari, which was super tender and well seasoned. Probably the best I’ve had in NZ!

This place was quite busy, but we able to get a seat on a Friday night. Service was a little slow, but it was busy and when we got it, it was very friendly and professional. Food was tasty and the kids deal made the overall price pretty good. We had a small issue with one meal, but it was quickly sorted without drama. Great service.

What a an amazing night at reign. Bartenders are super nice , the host was was really cool. They have managed to run a busy night with such ease. I can say so because I have worked hospitality before. The floor staff is super polite. The bathrooms were clean and drink service was on point. Didn’t have to wait for more than 2 minutes in a busy night. Security is nice and n out like other clubs where they take pictures of you.

From the moment you walk in Reign and Pour brings a solid upbeat and relaxed vibe. The staff are friendly and incredibly attentive. The food.... Oh my goodness, so good. I had the stuffed chicken which was so well balanced in terms of flavour profile. My partner had the steak and said "this is the best steak I've had in quite some time." To share we also grabbed the cauliflower bites which were perfectly salted and crispy. We'll be back for sure!

A humbled man, I felt as if I had squandered my young life.. as if nothing was left to me. My parents and the members of my holistic healing group had told me a different story but I had never believed it - until I entered the golden gates of heaven that proved to be the golden gates of Auckland downtowns reign and pour. A destitute man with only one simple wish - to eat. I have never in my entire life felt a warmer welcome as the greeting I was met with as I was transported though the double doors leading my starving soul into only what I can describe as a wonderland for the hungry. Delectable notes of truffle hit the orifices of my nose as I inhaled the most delectable scents of indulgence wafting from the open kitchen - a kitchen full of the most talented chefs to grace these shores. I do thank the most esteemed chef, Shady, for gracing me with the poignant delectables from his palate that he deemed acceptable to share with me, a mere mortal. I cannot thank this 5 star establishment enough for the celebrity treatment they graced me with… I will come back every day, and every day after that for this eternity I am cursed to bear. Long life reign and pour! My heart breaks every day that I am not able to embrace the warmth that is this venue.. my soul withers every second I am not with you.

Impromptu stop whilst searching for food after a 9 hour flight from Singapore.. what can I say great beer, and superb food !! Well cooked, not your normal pub/restaurant food. We can highly recommend the chicken and winter veg and pork loin - they both were excellent.

I was in a daze wandering down quay street, and suddenly.. as a moth drawn to the flame - I was driven towards reign and pour by what I can only describe as a siren call - something that was truly meant to be. I was warmly ushered into a luxe booth, presented with a menu which seemed expertly crafted by chefs of which should be adorned and awarded with Michelin stars. Nothing could’ve possibly prepared me for what I was about to experience. I’m but a mere divorcée living off alimony, once my artisanal journey was complete I felt implored to message my ex husband to personally thank him for funding this life changing phenomena. I can only assume that this hidden jewel on the waterfront is a gift from whatever deity created this world, there is no other possible reason such divine cuisine should exist that isn’t located in nirvana. I’m personally offended that I cannot give this establishment more than 5 stars. I implore my fellow people to pay a visit to this restaurant, your taste buds will truly never be the same. I would like to personally thank the esteemed maître’de, Roddy, for not only healing the whirling trauma of my childhood but also easing the eternal pain that was my marriage - we have since cancelled our divorce. I implore you to sink into a booth and allow yourself to be served by what can only be described as the most attentive staff who will simply caress your every drink with drops of passion. Reign and pour? More like pain no more!

Reign & Pour looked after our crew of 30 people and were bloody brilliant! All my interaction with them was done from Wellington and I took great faith in their ability to deliver to my guests and the team at R&P did a fantastic job. I recommend them as the best bougie burger joint in Auckland - and that's saying something!

Menu range is great with something to suit everyone’s taste . The roast chicken with greens and mash was wholesome and tasty. Not often you find chicken on a menu these days . Decor and atmosphere is sophisticated and welcoming . Service waa attentive and prompt . Will go back with a group next time to enjoy more of the food on the menu

We were very impressed with the food. Casual atmosphere, quite loud music. Bathrooms were spotless. Great location across from ferry building and next to Commercial Bay. Service... average.

We were looking for a place that could accommodate a fairly large group (~15 pax) and this place was one of the ones that could. There are entrances on both Quay street and through Little Queen Street. The place looked quite nice with lots of booths tiled along the dining area. We had a large table on the side to fit us all. I quite liked how the restaurant looked. It did get a bit loud at times and the light levels fluctuated throughout the night. The menu looks very typical for a pub, with plenty of food and drink options. I decided to try the pork belly and was pleasantly surprised at the meal. The pork was tender and the skin was actually crispy. I really enjoyed the BBQ kumara since it had a smokey flavour and was a bit sweet. The desserts were all tasty. I had the creme brulee and managed to taste the other two. The creme brulee was smooth and had a nice vanilla flavour. It would have been nicer with a bit more of the brulee on top. The chocolate mousse was almost like a very light and airy ganache. It had a nice chocolate flavour which wasn't too dark. I enjoyed the coconut flavour of the panna cotta but the fruits were a bit on the sour side for me. It was quite a nice place to grab some food and drinks.

Busy lunchtime crowd. I was impressed with the cleanliness and rapid cleaning of tables of staff. Especially by the lass with the two-tone coloured hair.
