The highlights were definitely the Cloudy Bay Clam pasta, puff bread and the abundance of wine choices!

Esther was such a fabulous restaurant to stumble upon! A lovely walk along the Auckland marina led us here, and we’re so glad it did.
Even without a reservation, the staff at Esther were more than accommodating and put on a wonderful meal.

Esther’s $65 Restaurant Month deal is so worth it, come give it a go and you won’t regret it! Special highlights were the puff pastry and sticky date pudding. They are the appetiser and dessert, and they’re sooo well done and leave you wanting more. For $65 you get a lot with 8 plates served over 3

A beautifully designed restaurant with incredibly tasty food. Excellent service and unique presentation of dishes. However, the portions are small, and the prices are high.
Very nice place with attentive knowledgeable staff. Food was really nice but quite small portions even when their menu and staff say they are large. If you have an appetite you will need extras. Duck fat potatoes are very nice. Avoid the rooftop bar though, long waits for nothing.

We celebrated our anniversary at Esther. I would say the food was fantastic !! We ordered the restaurant of the month menu and ordered the extras like the chefs pick and some cocktails.
The wait staff Joel was extremely hardworking and cared to take the time to speak to us.

Paid a visit to Esther’s during my stay at QT Auckland. The fittings and atmosphere is absolutely amazing and all staff were super attentive and friendly.

The food was awesome especially the puff bread and the apple pie ! The staff was very nice and kept asking if our food was alright. Overall it was just a awesome dinning experience. The restaurant also have a very unique architecture design on the ceiling giving a different atmosphere.
Absolutely love this restaurant. We made a last minute decision to have a late dinner after walking past and the hostess was super accommodating, offering us a table despite being busy.
