Popped in this morning for a quick takeaway coffee, well worth the visit. Wander is a little out of the way from the main walking traffic, but is well worth the visit. This place was pretty busy with people grabbing a Saturday morning breakfast. We grabbed takeaway coffee and a pastry (daughter rated the pastry). Would certainly come back again.

My French colleague recommended this place for good French food and she was right, absolutely delicious! I had the special - venison with mash and veggies and there was lots of sauce to soak everything plus the venison was cooked well and super soft. Will definitely be back, lovely atmosphere and great for lunch!

The food was delicious, with generous portions. The snapper ceviche was so fresh with a hint of lime and chicken cordon bleu was served with potatoes and mushrooms on top of a smoked yoghurt sauce. My photos don’t do the food justice. Friendly and polite service. Highly recommended.

Nice meal and place. Great waitress. Star off for food because the trevally omelette could have done with more trevally! The other meals looked great though and their great toast looks delicious. Star off for service because the food wait time was noticeably long. We enjoyed the Chat time but if we had been in a hurry we would have probably got annoyed.

Delicious food. Booked with 1st Table. Eggplant flavours were amazing. Omlette had sufficient acidity and texture. Steak was cooked perfectly, but maybe needs a bit more butter basing your add flavour. Clams need to be sanded but the pasta noodles were cooked perfectly and sauces were great. Ceviche is delicious. A must try when at Wynyard. Food Quality: 4/5 Food Quantity: 5/5 Presentation: 4/5 Environment: 4/5 Price per person: $30-$40

Excellent! Wow, what amazing service. First the guy on the phone sorted out our booking quicker than he told us he could, like by hours. The food was amazing. The menu was a bit different too with delicious tweaks to the regular brunch choices. The service was friendly and well timed. Overall an excellent experience at reasonable prices. Very much enjoyed.

Great tasting food, and a lot of salad. I started off the morning with a nice walk in the rain to the bus stop. After a hefty 1 and a half hour ride off two busses to travel 15km I walked down to wander for breakfast. Purchased a crock madam and it was delish so I would rock up here again.

This modest French run cafe has a huge range of top quality food. The standard is much higher than any of the nearby 5 star restaurants for breakfast

New place in the heart of Wynyard Quarter with delicious food with a kiwi-french vibe. I would definitely recommend as a great lunch or dinner spot. I went with a group and we ordered a selection of dishes. Highlights for us were the market ceviche, chicken liver parfait, chicken cordon bleu, the steak and the raclette. For dessert, the creme brule was one of the best I have had in a while. With good vibes and friendly staff to match, we will be returning.

Cosy spot. Food was well presented and delicious. Service was good. Just as an aside….menus were a bit grubby.

I came to the Wander café yesterday with a friend and I absolutely loved this place. I had the chicken burger and my friend had the Ham and cheese croissant and we loved it so much. Have not had such good food for a long time now so kudos to the amazing chefs. There are very few cafes in Auckland that have awesome food and this definitely hit the spot. The customer service was top notch and we loved the atmosphere and vibe of the café. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
