I can’t get over what amazing food and value for money Ippudo has. You are able to order the salmon and chicken bowls in a half size for just $10 which was more than enough of a meal, I wish more restaurants offered half sizes. The food was ready within 5minutes of ordering and was 10/10. Highly recommend the spicy cucumber and the chicken on rice dish. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales

Went for the most popular ramen on the menu (forgot the name). It was nice, food came out fast. Good spot here for ramen.

Went in for lunch and had the Karaka-men tamago. Ramen was nice, was quite average. Nothing mind blowing. Decent enough for what it was. Service was good. Food came out pretty fast.

A quick recommendation for Japanese food around Auckland. The ramen tastes amazing and taking you for a while in Japan. Try now!

First time trying this branch. Quite spacious and clean restaurant. Service is great also. Had the akamaru ramen and the broth was very creamy and flavoured just right. We also had the chicken karaage but it wasn't at all deep fried like what I thought it was going to be. It was more like a grill chicken tenders, it tasted good but not the proper karaage that I know. However the food taste very good overall.

Situated in Sylvia Park, had to wait a bit to be seated a they was very busy and shortage of staff. Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly, very efficient and effective in the way they cleaned the tables after each customer when leaving their tables, attending to new customers asking for our order. Staff is very knowledgeable of the different dishes which was very helpful. We didn't wait long for our food which came within few minutes from putting our order. The food was very delicious and yummy.😋 They only accept payment as one bill which could be inconvenient for some people. Overall a very nice atmosphere and good experience.

For your Ramen Fix, I recommend hard-cooked noodles if you eat slow. You'll get that al dente texture for that and won't get soggy at the bottom of the bowl. Try their Salmon sushi platter, too! Highly recommended. The staff were accomodating and friendly.

Clean and appealing decor, very similar design to others I've visited overseas in Tokyo and Sydney. Food came out quickly, but it wasn't busy on a Friday night surprisingly. The kids menu is a average for $12. The Ramen was authentic tasting, but a bit too salty for me. Portions are not the biggest

It's good and the store is spacious. But, it was not enough soup for kaedama.

Took a while to be seated. Door sign says they still have staff shortage. But once seated orders came fast. Food was good.

So glad there’s a second Ippudo in NZ, still as perfect as how I know it, authentic Hakata style Tonkotsu broth with my favorite thin noodle done to perfectly al dente, so satisfying. We also need one down in Christchurch plz.

I came here on a cold day which was perfect because the ramen definitely warmed me up. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Staff was attentive and there are a good variety of options to choose from on the menu.

The Grilled Unagi Don is amazing😍 The seaweed rice is supper flavoursome and of great texture! Just the fried mushroom tastes a bit bitter. Chicken Karaage is delicious served warm. Bonito Tonkotsu's ramen noodles are great, but the broth is a bit salty. Didn't wait long for food:) Will come back next time for wagyu steak don (cuz it was sold out this time) and other dishes😉

Nice environment, always neat and clean. Service can vary from time to time, sometimes the waiters can be inattentive although they often have a lot of staff on floor. Although this is a ramen place, they do offer non-ramen options as well such as salmon poke don - generous toppings, though the dressing can be quite salty. After trying the different ramen, my personal favourite was the Akamaru Shinaji - the broth was thick and strong. Shiromaru Motoaji tasted lighter, thinner. Downside is, portions are quite small… Chicken kaarage - I would not recommend. Inconsistent taste on different visitis, sometimes it can be quite soggy and dry.
