Some pasta are really good. I recommend ziti oyster mushroom, fettuccine vongole, and pappardelle beef. Amazing flavour and source. Noodles are extraordinary. The serving is not large so better order for sharing. And for the dessert, dark chocolate and cheese cake you must not miss. They taste so good. Great service and friendly staff. The environment is really nice to have a dinner with friends.

This place is absolutely BUSTLING, it is so tiny but that also adds to its charm. Everyone is super lovely and friendly, and the food, absolutely delicious - great tasting, simple pasta made with good ingredients, and FRESH. I love it, jus the bread alone, I could eat for days. You would want to go either early or make a booking, the lines get ridiculous if you haven’t done either of these things. Worth a try if you love Italian.

Wow. Yum!! Thanks for a beautiful dinner. Everything was delicious, came out pretty quickly, and was gobbled up pretty quickly too. Heater/Blankets are a nice touch, my one critique would be perhaps comfier chairs outside. Wine recommendations were spot on. Next time I’ll return with an empty tummy so I can eat lots more. And James ~ that’s the kinda host that makes you feel like you’re at home. He’s very thoughtful and knows his stuff. Til next time. Thanks Pici. ☺️☺️

Service is excellent, but have to say a bit rushed (a good sign of a well oiled kitchen at least!), a nice girl really helped us with selections of food and wine when we visited. Food is…pretty good, the pastas were the highlight of course. The signature is a must try. Prices were more than reasonable! It’s a 4/5 but I’m hesitant in coming back. Why? As with most experiences on K Rd expect a bit of a show if you’re sitting outside, people walking past screaming, unpleasant passersby. Out of the restaurants control unfortunately. But has to be mentioned, maybe I’m too old for the bustle of K Rd.

Lovely pasta. I tried ravioli which were lunch special. Found it quite pricey $26 for 5 raviolis. Tasted nice.

Been a few times now, and never a disappointment. The cacio e pepe is classic that I can't stop ordering. But my favourite was the nduja fettuccine and the seasonal stracciatella with the golden beetroot. The lamb ragu was also delicious, as we're the breads, Olives, and, thin slices of pork. Paired with a beautiful Pet Nat, we had quite the feast. Service is usually pleasant, but we've had instances where we felt we were rushed. But overall a wonderful time.

Love a casual dining place like Pici! We came here at 5 and all the tables are taken real quick. Warm and friendly hospitality, small and cozy place with cool atmosphere. Simple menu with great wine selection and pasta. We had 2 starters and 2 pasta and couldn’t decide which one is the best. Will definitely come back again real soon. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! This was our first time at Pici and it was superb! Staff were super friendly, the food was phenomenal and the wine was amazing. I didn’t catch the name of the lively person that served us, but they were super helpful and even provided us with suggestions around the menu. The only fault for me was the volume of music - would’ve preferred it to be quieter to suit the quaint and rustic feel of the restaurant. Otherwise loved the food and will be back!

WOW. In the last two weeks of traveling New Zealand, I have made my way back to Pici four times now!! If I had the option I would have dined here more than four times. My friend and I found this cozy restaurant on a Friday afternoon after seeing how delicious the food looked. We spoke to a sweet individual with short hair (cute SpongeBob sweatshirt!) and they informed us we could be seated for dinner around 5:30pm. When we returned later for dinner we reviewed the menu and decided to split 3 appetizers and 3 pasta dishes accompanied with the Huntress Pinot Noir (must try!).the first appetizer we tried was the porchetta with thyme and wow it exceeded any and all expectations as did each and every plate we had. Continuing we had the focaccia along with mushroom pasta, pappardelle sausage pasta, and the mascarpone pasta dish. Each one was delicious and unique in their own way. The last 2 times my friend and I dined here we both ordered plates of the pici cacio de Pepe along with focaccia and porchetta and OF COURSE the huntress Pinot Noir. Tonight I dined at Pici alone for my last night in New Zealand and to no surprise I was more than satisfied with my meal and exceptional service by all staff. Tonight my waitress was the sweet bartender who was more than happy to answer all questions I had. Tonight I treated myself to a glass of Syrah to accompany my porchetta, the aperol spritz to accompany my Pici cacio de Pepe, and The Godfather amaretto whiskey to accompany the dark chocolate mousse with pistachios and salted caramel. I highly recommend this restaurant to any and all interested. The staff, food, and ambiance have exceeded all expectations and I would gladly come back. Cheers from California!

What a great little find! I'll be back for sure to wine and dine with more friends. Amazing starters and delicious pastas. Be sure to order some focaccia to mop everything up with, as you won't be wanting to leave a drop of anything on your plate. We recieve excellent service and recommendations.

It's definitely a place where you want to book ahead, but it's worth it for the food! The service was amazing too, one server per table so able to track our progress through our dishes. A good array of drinks to choose from to match with your dishes! Favourite was the pici pasta with home made rolled spaghetti. It is a really small restaurant but still worth the visit!

Freshly made pasta, well-selected wines, awesome staff and such a cool atmosphere. Loving this new addition to St Kevin's Arcade. This is the BEST pasta I've ever had. We've had a few dishes now and looking forward to making our way through the rest of the menu 😀😀

Loving these simple pastas (Fettuccine vongole and Rigatoni, pork & fennel sausage ragu). They are delicious and fresh. We felt a bit salty and thirsty after the meal though. The environment is small and cozy. Services are good and friendly.

Pici is such a cute little bustling spot, the pasta menu is always fabulous and the seasonal specials are always a hit! Paired with great service, wine and drinks and you’ve got a winner. The atmosphere is on point and whoever is in control of the playlist knows the right vibe for a K road venue. Such delicious food, i’ll be back.

We came for a mid week lunch - had high expectations and were not disappointed in the slightest! We initially ordered the focaccia, cacio e pepe and the bucatini with marscapone and ndjua however the food was so good that we decided to then order another pasta dish - the lamb ragu. The focaccia and the bucatini came out first. You absolutely must order focaccia to help mop up all the sauce that comes with each pasta. The focaccia was delicious, very moist and tasty. We loved the bucatini - the marscapone adds a nice creaminess that is balanced out by the spicy ndjua. The breadcrumbs on top add a nice crunchiness We then had the cacio e pepe - which was lovely and cheesy and peppery. I personally feel this pasta should have come out first as I felt like My palate was bit overwhelmed by the strong flavour of the ndjua / chilli oil. We then had the lamb ragu. I have to admit this extra dish was pure indulgence but oh so worth it. To top it off, our server was fab - super friendly and attentive with good banter. All in all a fab meal and definitely a place everyone must visit.
