Had the chicken curry and Ten-hana special set here for a quick lunch. Great value and good taste located in the middle of the city. Good amount of food as well! Definitely a nice place for a lunch with no hassle!
If I can, I would love to give them 10 out of five :) came everyday during my stay in Auckland. Highly recommend everything(esp.Haha-ten dong). Quite big portion but been improving to finish all.

Absolutely amazing tempura etc. Japanese food restaurant right in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza hotel. Always full of Asian people, which is a great sign. Food quality is outstanding, yet prices are quite reasonable. Quick and friendly service.
Came here many times because the food is mostly delicious, especially the Ten-dons.
Personally, I like the Chicken Ten-don with miso sauce the most.

Great tempura set. The size and quality are both excellent. Lovely staff and chefs. Totally worth walking through road works to Crown Plaza.
I ordered the tempura with soba noodles for $18. Very impressed with the low price for the quality and quantity of the meal. The prawn tempura just melts in your mouth and the cold soba noodles were light and chewy, which gave a nice contrast to the hot and slightly heavier tempuras.

The restaurant is located inside the Crown Plaza lobby on Albert Street. It is very easy to miss even though it also connects to the Atrium on Elliot.

Their tempura is so amazing. Big bowl of noodle as well. Freshly deep fried. I couldn’t finish this bowl of noodle at all.

I cant believe there is such a nice Japanese restaurant hidden in CBD. The staff are Japanese and they are very nice. Ordered a Hana Tendon for only $18, with prawn, chicken qnd vega tempura on rice. They taste really good😭😭😭 1000% must try !!!!!

This place is always a lovely place to go to. Have been coming here for several years even before when it was Genzui. Food is still amazing and tastes great. The staff are also very polite and have polite attitudes. Will come by every now and then!
Easily the best Tempura I've had out of Japan! Authentic food and the serving sizes were great! The tempura was perfectly crunchy... totally blew my mind. The entrance is tricky to find ATM with the construction on the roads...walk into the Crowne Plaza lobby to find this place. 100% coming again to
