What an awesome eating place in the CBD! Went here for a weekday lunch following a recommendation. Really nice atmosphere with lots of exposed brick, large windows and wooden floors. Plenty of good choices on the menu plus you can have a beer or a wine with your meal. Great vegetarian choices, I had the DC Swinger and it was good and spicy but it didn’t blow your head off. Loved loved the service! Staff were welcoming and answered any questions and made some good recommendations on what to try. I’ll definitely be back again soon.

They've got some of the most delicious sandwiches in a very cozy atmosphere. Tried out the Bully and it was juicy and flavourful! Their Iced Oat Latte was also great with the coffee being nicely balanced without being overly bitter or sour. Definitely a must try if you're nearby.

Came in for a little lunch date with my wife, I got the DC Swinger and they got the Mush Mash. I really enjoyed mine, loved the amount of spice, super filling one sandwich was definitely enough! My wife didn’t like hers as much, she just thought it didn’t have as much flavour as the one I had, maybe just to many fried things in one sandwich. But I’ll still be coming back to try the sides! Definitely a nice little spot 🥪

I’d give it 6 stars if I could. I’m not usually a fan of the western cold sandwich but the Korean flavour and Paulee’s warm welcoming service at Swings blows me away every single time. Staff here treat you like you are family. I love Bully and Mush Mash for the sandwiches, the fried chicken skewer is great and remember to try the new matcha too!

Came to this little Korean eatery from recommendations of my mate. Really like the décor and spot. Just next to the Albert Park off Victoria st. Once you are in the restaurant, you feels like a world apart from the rest of Auckland. The sandwiches are amazing 'evil' (ingredients are high cals) and yummy. However, I found the taste is a little too strong and overpowering for me. I can't really taste the food, but mouseful of souces. I know that this is a signature for all Korean style street sandwiches, but I think that it's a little too Strong for my taste bug. However, it is still enjoyable to try. If you are into a nice big juicy burgers, I think this Korean style sandwiches would be perfect meals for you.

I love the concept, I love the venue (so neat), and I loved the service. The sandwich I ordered (DC Swinger) wasn't really to my taste, but I think that's a matter of personal preference. I certainly appreciated the effort that went into it, and I would definitely consider coming back and trying something different. Overall I would definitely recommend it as a cool place with a good vibe.

Picture this: a stunning cloudless day, a view of Albert Park, some vibey music and the best damn toasted sandwich you’ve ever eaten in your life. The team at Swings are the most welcoming people ever, you are guaranteed to want to go back for seconds and thirds

I stopped by for lunch to try them out. They specialise in toasted sandwiches with a Korean twist. They do takeaway but there were a few tables inside the restaurant for eating in. They also had some souvenirs like T-shirts for sale in the shop. Their menu is right beside the counter and it isn't very big, with some different flavours of sandwiches and a few sides. I tried the Bully with the rice cakes and potato cheese balls. The rice cakes were deep fried and drenched with a sweet and spicy sauce. The potato cheese balls were exactly as described, crunchy and soft mashed potato with a cheesy filling. The Bully was nice as I enjoyed their sweet and savoury bulgogi sauce. It was nicely toasted so it had a nice texture. The sauce did leak to the back of the sandwich so there was some tasty sauce to drink after eating the sandwich. It was a nice stop to try something a bit different. Interesting flavours and tasty food.

DELICIOUS! highly recommend the Bully. Always a good vibe in here too, great music, awesome friendly staff. (Their sandwiches are even still the bomb when you put it in the fridge and eat it cold at 4am after a night out lol) great pricing too very reasonable. I'll be coming here often!

My go-to lunch 😍 Been coming here since they opened which I was super excited for, to finally have Korean toast 😭 so nostalgic for a Korean to have this from time to time. The food here is ALWAYS consistent and to the highest quality possible! Yes it’s a toastie BUT the amount of things and love that go into each one is incredible. The toast itself is so so filling which is great for lunch or a quick snack menu during the day! I couldn’t recommend this place more, I’ve introduced this place to most of my clients and all the feedback has been great, they make sure to stop by and get a feed here every time they come into the CBD 😂 Thank you team for your hard work and mouth watering food and amazing service!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ordered a Bully, taste really good. But $17 for this is a little bit too high. But highly recommended for one time try.

Nicely made sandwiches. Good balance of flavour. Need some non spicy options for those who can't handle any spice. A little pricy but quality is good. Will be back again to try other vegetarian options.

First time there and looking forward to going there again to try the rest of the menu 😋 such a lovely vibe there and the sandwich was really delicious, had a glass of wine (organic, like a rose and nicely chilled) - even though it was only 11amish (just felt like the thing to do lol) and an iced late/coffee as well. Smmoth music (my description) was nostalgic (to me) and heartwarming. Daughter and I loved it and wished our sister girlfriends were there to enjoy the fabulous menu and atmosphere as well 😊
