Oh where to start- Brett & Julie are fantastic hosts. We got to sample pizzas, beer, puku’s pancakes, big brekkie, coffee, chocolate brownies and amazingly moist carrot cake - thankfully not all on one day. Loved it all, thanks guys 😎
Blown away! Both meals were outstanding! Cauliflower soup and IndoRice. Chef even shared his culinary secrets with us.

First rate cafe food with great locally roasted coffee, you can't go past My Fat Puku for breakfast/brunch at Claris!
This is the place to *be* and was a great spot for me to recharge and reset after a night of camping. Staff were friendly and the cafe is spacious with lots of sunny patio spots!

Woo hoo! The food is authentic, fresh and tasty. Great Barrier is a beautiful place in itself. My Fat Puku only accentuates the experience. Experienced staff and attention to detail. What more could a Puku want?😊

Best pizza ever, woodfired, generous toppings and crispy base, delicious! Would suggest putting fries ( yummy as well) in a basket instead of a takeaway cardboard box....eco friendly, locally made perhaps that can be reused or wooden to match the amazing pizza platters. My fat puku rates as an exceptional spot to relax over coffee and have.chats. The kai is delicous, sausage rolls the best. Healthy sandwiches too. Lovely service from local girls.
