We bought a coffee and a custard slice for a quick snack. The custard slice was really stale, the worse I’ve had, however, the cappuccino was very tasty and creamy! Lovely nature views! When sitting outside we did notice the pigeons helping themselves, sitting on the seats and table with the guests,
I had the pleasure of dining at Winter Garden Cafe, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The French toast I ordered was not just a meal; it was a culinary work of art. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and each bite was a delightful burst of flavor. What truly impressed me was the
We went for nice Sunday drive and chose to go to Auckland domain, lunch time on arrival so an easy park outside the “WINTERGARDEN CAFE” a great idea, so convenient! The surroundings where fantastic overlooking the duck ponds! The service was amazing a lovely friendly woman took our order for food a
I like the settings and the location, next to the pond, Wintergarden, and the War Memorial Museum. There were some tables and chairs for those who likes alfresco dining. Large enough for Bridal shower and casual customers.
Wonderful location quaint historic building with large outdoor area. Food was on point. Friendly and helpful staff. Would def go back there especially on a warm sunny day as it overlooks a duck pond with flowering shrubs & established trees. Its a very pleasant place to chill in central Auckland.
If you love great outdoor and food, this place is has the perfect location. Enjoy a delicious lunch then stroll around or visit the museum.
Nestled conveniently beside the Auckland War Memorial Museum, This quaint cafe is a hidden gem, offering a serene escape from the bustling city, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a quiet and charming atmosphere.
For those willing to invest a little more for an extraordinary experience, the
Awesome, went when it was the perfect weather, very good food a great service, had the spicy burger, not spicy burger though
What a fantastic environment for brunch. Surrounded by the beautiful gardens of the Auckland Domain it would have been easy for them to rest on their laurels but the food and coffee were of high quality. Staff were friendly yet professional. Definitely a lovely experience after a long morning at the
Went there last Sunday morning for a Breakfast before going to the Museum. Staff was very friendly and quick. Food was delicious, also Gluten-free options available. Prices are reasonable and not too much compared to other places. The outdoor area offers a nice view over the duckpond. Worth a visit.
Cozy cafe in the middle of the park! Perfect for outside seating, with friendly staff and good prices. Meals both made to order and a good range of baked goods. Good long black and cappuccino, or hot chocolate and ice cream if that’s more your style. Would recommend!
Thank you to this beautiful staff lady she made my sons birthday breakfast extra special with her kindness. I appreciate her so much. Ps I didn’t catch her name.. Thank you.
It was a windy day but still nice to be outside for lunch with the seating area having some wind barriers. Food was excellent and staff was friendly. It's a great place to take a break while spending the day in the Domain.
Nice spot hidden away in the domain. Adjacent to a pond and the winter gardens, so there’s a nice amount of wildlife enjoying the area.
Food was not too bad, nothing amazing and I thought it was quite pricey. Coffee was nice but not amazing. Staff were pleasant but they seldom entered the dining ar
Great food. We went in on a day where 2 big groups had their events. A bit loud in a closed setup, which otherwise I have found very serene dining spot
Went here for a high tea for my birthday with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was for the price. Not only was the food great, but the service was too. The staff member taking care of us was so attentive, and made sure to come back every so often as guests arrived
