Came here for a lunch with my daughters and grand daughter and must say from the time we got here the service I couldn’t fault,food was quick and very good .The waiter was great with my granddaughter and seem to love kids.Will definately be back again and would recommend to others.

My husband and i have enjoyed going to the New Brew for a few years now - love the friendly staff - think the food is a notch up on Pub Grub - very enjoyable if you happen to go on Quiz night etc...my husband loves the entree Angels on horseback bacon and Scallops - he can recommend this dish...we have always enjoyed our meals.
New Brew has been a favourite of mine for a while now. The staff are absolutely amazing, the food is mouth watering, and the ambiance is perfectly suited for the time you are there. Lunch time specials are great for pub lunch Fridays (or any day of the week) Friday and Saturday nights they have live bands/entertainment which makes it the place to be, for us Shore folk :-) Then we attend the Quiz nights on a Tuesday night as well. What a blast of fun that is. Julian is generous enough to give out some prizes to the top teams. I cannot fault New brew on a single thing. We love Julian and his team!
Was here as a visitor to the North Harbour rugby union and came here for dinner and a few drinks. The staff were amazing, felt so well looked after and a great atmosphere. A great live band (BlackOut I believe) just topped everything off. Highly recommended.
Went on a busy time and got served as soon as we arrived and our food came out within 10 minutes. Steak was cooked perfectly and staff were very friendly. Will definitely come back.

Ended up here Saturday night late, had a few drinks, enjoyed the last few songs of the band, really enjoyed dancing� ���had the dance floor literally to ourselves. We stayed while they were packing up, dancing to the last few tunes that were playing. Were not asked to leave once, Julian and his crew r such a nice bunch of people���Will go there again and again. Foods' always good�
Great evening having a few drinks!!! Julian and his Staff are friendly and give wonderful service!!! Asked for some platters - and got a feast (wished I had taking photos before we started eating). Everyone commented on the quality of the food and the relaxed atmosphere 👍👍👍👍
We went here for a work do last night was good food the place was clean and the staff seemed friendly enough I had fish n chips it was ok bit oily but I enjoyed the buffalo wings and the blue vein sauce to go with was delicious I think there more like a main as there large probably more for 2 ppl to share also tried the beef burger was very tasty and good size burger and the burritos were very nice if you enjoy spicy food then this entree is for you.
Service was friendly, fast and efficient. Food was tasty and quite a big portion, atmosphere was also nice. Indoor and outdoor area was nicely set up. location is good, usually have family meet ups here so will be back for sure!
Great Father’s Day lunch at New Brew. The staff were super friendly and made a real fuss of our 3.5 year old. They even remade her hot chocolate so it wasn’t too hot for her.
Food was lovely- the men loved their steaks, fish was fresh and delicious and curly fries a scrummy treat.

This place has been a family favourite of ours for a few years now. I only just realised I hadn't done a review for it yet. Dined here with my mum tonight. This place is well set up with a bar & separate dinning area. We sat in the dinning area near the fireplace which was lovely on such a chilly evening. We shared the surf and turf platter which I would highly recommend. It's awesome value at $30 for two. The staff are friendly & attentive. I highly recommend this place for after work drinks or a casual dinner.

Went here for dinner last night as a group and we all really enjoyed it! Nice location and decorations with really funny lovely staff who are quick acting but don't make you feel rushed. My burger was delicious and a really decent size and price I thought. My partner thought his meal was slightly over priced for how much he got as he only got 3 shrimps for his steak and Parmesan shrimps meal but over wise enjoyed it. And then for desert they handled my nut allergy really well. All in all o highly recommend this place!
first of all we made a booking for 10 people was a sat night the Friday the 3rd , not only they where able to cater for us made our night.
Group of us where in here just over a year ago food was crap we said never be back, but i'm glade we came tonight what ever they are doing at the new bar keep it up, food was amazing on the table where steaks every thing was cook to our liking and so much more i had steak best ever 10 out of 10 for the food. Service was ok a little slow made a couple of mistakes but the food topped it off that's way its a 5 out of 5 as well thank u guys for a great night we be back

One of the hidden gems on the Shore, though to experience the real vibe here you need people as the bar is large. We have participated in the Quiz night here several times - Tuesday's for those interested - and it can be completely full with over 13 teams competing. The live bands are also great to experience with some regular bands enabling you to through away your inhibitions. The food itself is reasonably wide ranging and we have no set favorite. Happy hour although not well publicised is weekdays 4-6pm - only on tap beer and house varietals. The current owners are from Argentina always attentive to their regulars and enjoy banter on football. they particularly enjoyed Brazil getting beaten 7-1 by Germany in last years World Cup semi.

Went here with my partner for a birthday dinner and shared the Surf & Turf platter. I'm always a little apprehensive ordering seafood at an untried restaurant, but glad I took the risk! Delicious prawns, high quality strips of steak (was expecting a cheaper cut) and very nice flavours. Good value and very enjoyable!
Staff were friendly - not overly attentive, but still better service than a lot of places in Auckland.
Had a Girls Night catch up with my friend who suggested this place as a result of a promotional voucher on the back of her Supermarket docket. Wow! I was very very impressed. The place is spacious and well laid out with a comfortable and separate dining area. There is also a covered outdoor seating area in the front. Toilets were sparkling clean and well stocked. Food was sublime - best Eye Fillet steak I have ever had - melt in the mouth. My friends Chicken salad also received excellent review. Service was attentive, great range of wines and beers - I'm already looking forward to going again.
We went to the New Brew-Cobb & Co for lunch, and it was excellent in every way. The 4 of us had a range of meals, and every one of them was excellent. The service was second to none. The Cobb & Co atmosphere and presentation were also excellent, and it is so good to see Cobb & Co making a come back, and such a positive one at that. Again, the service was excellent and the Gentleman who looked after us (I think he was the owner) paid special attention to the our elderly Mother. Will we be going back?, absolutely without question.
Enjoyed a fabulous Birthday on Sat with 31 guests at the restaurant. The Owner Julian went out of his way to be accommodating and the New Chef, Ariel's cuisine and presentation was beautiful. Everyone very complimentary of the food and venue.

At the end of Sept I celebrated a friends birthday with a three course meal and dancing to the 80's DJ. The food was gorgeous thanks to the addition of a new Chef and his new menu. I could not fault the service or attention we received. We all had a fabulous evening, one we'll remember for a very long time. A huge thank you to all the team at New Brew.
Went there to see a gig on Sunday evening 22/10. Had a great time. The staff were fun and friendly. Great atmosphere and nice drinks. Dessert tasted good too.
We go there quite often and Julian recognises us and he's always very friendly. Recently I booked a table for my birthday and the service, food and the cake I also ordered from them, a cappuccino one, were so lovely. My guests and I felt looked after. Our night ended with a 2 hour disco dance which we really enjoyed. It's so good to have a place like that in our neighbourhood, drinks, food, music, dance, good and friendly service. What more could we ask for? Highly recommended!!!

There were empty plates from everyone, and especially from the kids, who said that the adult burgers were the best. The service was impecable, very helpful and they didn't make us wait even when we were a large group.
I heard that they are bringing an Argentinean chef soon, and I will surely be back!

It was a nice place. The love band was awesome. The food was hit and miss. The mains were delicious but could have used more veges to balance with the loads of meat, but tasty meat. But the desserts weren't good. The moose cake was very plasticey tasting and the Nutella cake was dry. Which is disappointing because they looked so delicious. Overall, would go back but would skip dessert.

I had brunch there with a few of my chums from work, and we enjoyed ourselves greatly for aside the good food and company, the crew at New Brew also makes us all feel like we were just at home.

My husband and I have been going here for 5 years. We just recently celebrated his 40th birthday here. The service was great. They even provided an extra table for the cake we brought in. The owner - Julian is so hands on and makes everything feel personal, he checks on how the food is and makes sure you get great service. Also really friendly staff and owner. Atmosphere’s great. And 5 years of going back to New Brew, and the food is always good! My husband used to be a chef and so is really critical with food, but this place never disappoints! All our steaks were cooked to perfection and good hearty meals.
Love the live band too! Dont forget to get your bottle of Argentinian Red wine.
