Just love this place every time we have been there we are never disappointed. Yum yum yum.
We come to Stanley's all the time and love the food here! It's a great local spot and everything we've ordered off the menu has been amazing. We know there are lots of other cafes in the area we should probably try but we like knowing we are going to get something super tasty every time!

Nice and sunny place to have brunch or lunch. Stanley’s pancake is so tasty as itself(without any syrup or jam). Also their banana milkshake is one of the best milkshake I’ve had in a while.
The gluten free pancakes with berries are delicious! Had a terrible coffee the last time I was there but have never had a problem before so it wouldn't stop me from going back. Very busy on weekends but never seem to wait too long
Hands down mg favorite cafe! I come here often and am never disappointed. Friendly staff, great coffee and great food. Their menu is varied and no matter what I order, I am always satisfied. It's not my local, but it's worth traveling for.
Just dropped by for an unpretentious lunch and was positively suprised by Stanley's food and service.
The roast sandwich was delicious, matching perfectly sweet and salty flavours, while the dessert, an almond croissant, was also great, specially with the good quality butter that came along.
Also, the waitresses were very kind and atentive,
Nice place to go, but they should get the air conditioning working for summer.

Stanley's is one of my favourite neighbourhood cafes. The food is always delicious - I've had most of their breakfast menu over the last couple of years. The coffee has always been good, even when I go with my mother who is the fussiest coffee drinker you will ever meet! The decor is very cool, and it feels like a comfortable location. There are always different groups of people here - families, older couples, groups of friends, and it just has a cheerful atmosphere. A really nice addition to the suburbs which can be a bit dull at times.
Went to Stanleys for brunch on a friends recommendation. I am glad i did as this place is a gem. Friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. I ordered the Buttermilk pancakes and they were a delight. This place gets a definite yes from me.
Amazing, homemade style food. Ordered vege breakfast and bacon and egg butty for husband. Not too badly priced, great quality and quantity. Highchairs and toys for kids. Cool decor. Have ordered from cabinet on other occasions and all really good. Menu has lots to choose from. Highly recommend!

I've visited Stanley's Cafe numerous times since its opening last year and every time the standard and quality has been top notch. I've tried a lot of their cabinet food such as the chicken flat bread with avocado and rocket, the roasted vege flat bread which comes open topped and grilled in the oven. Also the salads are very tasty, full packed with lots of fresh ingredients and the flavour is always delish. I love their club sammies and scones/muffins they do, perfect size and classic/good combinations done extremely well. I've tried my fair share from the menu as well, from the Breakfast Salad with Bacon to their Eggs Bene which is a classic. Last weekend I popped in to try the new menu. My friend I was with ordered the Salmon Bagel, which she rated very highly. I got the BLAT which came on a cute kaiser bun that wasn't too bready or oversized, and came with a generous serving of avocado, tomato, cos and bacon with a spread of aioli on the top of the bun. Yum yum! Will be back very soon to try more

Stanley's is a nice alternative to Ponsonby Rd cafes and well worth the drive over the bridge. There are plenty of parking spaces available outside the cafe. The décor is modern and with its elevated, north facing position we enjoyed the sun that streamed in. The brunch food was great and thoroughly enjoyed by the four of us. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are standard cafe prices as expected. The coffee was very good and the service is excellent. We would love to try the counter food but that will have to wait for our next visit.

We live just around the corner from Stanleys and we absolutely love it! We are there every weekend at least once :-) My husband usually orders an open sandwich which are great and the muffins and scones are made traditionally and are the best around, the coffee is good too. We love our new local cafe and I know all the local residents are so pleased that the second hand washing machine store has been transformed into a neat cafe.
Clean, fresh, light and airy. Exceptional friendly service. Loved the cute water containers. The food was delicious and there was a good selection. Coffee can be improved upon a little but considering cafe has only been open a couple of months I am sure this will change with experience! On driving by many times I notice cafe is always busy - What does that tell you :) A refreshing experience. I will most certainly be visiting again.

Love the decor - feels like it's always been there. Have been three times now and not been disappointed with quality of food, coffee and service. Prices are fair and we've had breakfast, brunch and coffee. Love the club sandwiches!!
Enjoyed the food and coffee very much but the service had room for improvement. I will be returning to experience the cafe again.
Just had lunch with my mother and son. Was very impressed with the cabinet selection and prices - unfortunately we were too late for the kitchen menu, kitchen had closed - will be back to try something off the menu soon. I am a hot chocloate fanatic and well done to the barrista, thoroughly enjoyed my drink! Didn't know they had free wifi so another bonus. parking nearby is 30mins so if you want to stay for a while choose a park a little further away, Judging by the number of people in the cafe - this will certainly be a fav for the north shore!! well done!!
Great cafe. The coffee is hot and strong, one of the best I've had in Auckland. First time I came here I had the breakfast salad, which is great value and very filling. There is heaps to choose from on the menu and cabinet food as well. Definitely coming back.
Tried this place today and had a good salmon bagel, however could have done with some lemon and black pepper on the lox. Coffee good.

Great selection of menu food and cabinet options. Liked the chilled relaxing music, not too loud, so can chat easily.
And actually open until 3 unlike alot of cafes that seem to be wind down at 2.
Good all day menu topped off with friendly service. Seating available indoors or outdoors dependant on the weather. Plenty of space inside and the food was fresh and tasty. Coffee was also very tasty. Limited parking out the front or more to the side if busy.
Poached eggs on rye bread with butter and herbs. The young server had to remind me to choose which type of bread! Flat white was delicious.
I noticed written on the cabinet that they do some gluten-free stuff, but I didn't take a lot of notice because I'm not effected.
Went today because of previous experience. Had a cheese scone and pot of tea, both delicious.
Great menu and a good selection of cabinet food too. Staff appeared to be under stress which impacted on the overall atmosphere that could have been more relaxed for a Sunday morning. It was nice to see provision made for dog owners to sit outside although with both doors open we all partook of the lively breeze!

Had a bagel with salmon and found the salom by accident. For the amount of salom, definitely overpriced.

Great coffee, very good service and the food was quite good, albeit that as I no longer live in Auckland, I hadn't visited here for ages, and it has obviously changed hands. Not quite the great cabinet food which used to be available, but still quite good. Didn't try anything off their Menu but plenty of choices.
This restaurant was and is a gem. The food was superb and the service was warm and welcoming. I can't sing its praises highly enough. Intimate dining.
