Love that place: the coffee is perfect, the food so delicious, and staff so friendly and welcoming. Perfect place for breakfast, lunch and the coffee during the day.
The best service, fabulous coffee and wonderful home baking
My partner and I recently moved to the area and we are so pleased to have found such a fantastic cafe close by. Best coffee in town and our new local.
Seriously best coffee in town! Backed up with even better service 'where everyone knows your name' is seriously on the money here!! Try them out, worth the drive across town
best coffee in town and amazing food!
My favourite local for lunch, coffee or cheeky afternoon treat! The service is just as good as the food.
Loved this place. The atmosphere is great and the food was delicious! Even the head chef came to ask how the food was. Would definitely come back here again! ❤️
I heard the owner being interviewed on National Radio so thought I would stop and grab some lunch next time I was driving past. I had a fabulous schnitzel wrap and blueberry muffin to takeaway. Delicious and very reasonable priced. Will be returning for more.
We used Zomato Gold here today. This was by far one of the best salads I've ever had! The grilled chicken salad with avocado and bri is delicious, as well as the calamari. The calamari was a solid 10/10. Generous portions sizes, and I love the boutique feel of the place. Loved sitting outside in the sun. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Couldn't fault it!
Love this place - my other local. Such good rosti and the coffee is on point but it's the staff that make the place. Awesome awesome team!!!
This is one of works local hangouts, friendly as faaaaark staff! Food is good but when you ask for salad on the side of a meal and you get rocket......only rocket, its not good.
Don't get the piccolo coffee, not the flashiest! The selection of food is good worth trying for sure.
The best long black and turmeric latte. Avocado smash and eggs bene are excelent
Favourite local! Awesome service, welcoming atmosphere, smiling staff, great food and as the sign says simply the best coffee in town! Delissimo Delicatessen
Great place to have some lunch in a lovely atmosphere. Food is delicious and coffee is excellent too. Very friendly staff. Will definitely come back!
It is always a pleasure to step into Delissimo! Welcoming atmosphere, created by super friendly owner and a cosy set up of the cafe! Coffee is to die for and is sure to wake me up each time:)
Food is as close to homemade as it can be, always fresh and very delicious with unique options to choose from!
Over all great place for a morning coffee, lunch, and a drink after work.
Thank you and keep up with the greatness!
Chrissy made me the best Moccachino I have ever drunk!!! The service was excellent, great attention to detail and awesome/friendly staff! Great place for a coffee, I'll have to come back to have brunch ? Laia
Delissimo is such a beautiful place with amazing food offerings. We were there with a group of eight for coffees and brunch on Saturday. The coffee is Atomic strong and doubles. I had the hash cakes with Salmon and the group had variety of Pulled pork Fajita, Fish of the day was John Dory, Chicken risotto and French toast. We sat at the back deck overlooking the old church and TV 3. Lovely Lovely Lovely. We will come back.
Beautiful food, very nice coffee, friendly manager and relaxing atmosphere, everything is just perfect in here! Definitely will come back often!
The service was excellent!
Best breakfast we ever had in NZ!
Presentation and Quality was above standard!
They Killed It!
Thanks guys you rock!
Love the food, love the coffee, love the service. A great place to catch up with friends or family and to spot the occasional TV3 celebrity. I have been a number of times and will continue to visit on a regular basis. Keep up the good work!

Grano is a fantastic addition to the Auckland food scene. The tapas are little plates of heaven and always different and tasty. The chef is definitely an up and comer. We had great service from the owner, Bridget, who obviously likes to look after her guests. Beats the other cafes in the area hands down and worth the trip if you live further afield.
Grano's food is just delicious, and they are extremely accommodating to any requests you might have. Occasionally they don't have a vegetarian option on the menu, but it is never a problem - the manager seems to enjoy giving me a run down of all the off-menu possibilities. I've had better coffee, but the food keeps me coming back (even though it is quite pricey). Lovely decor, too, and say hi to Bruno the dog!
Edited to add: Grano recently changed coffee to eighthirty and is now nearly faultless. Yum!!!
I've been to Grano a couple of times, since reading http://aucklandfoodblog.blogspot.com/2011/11/ten-auckland-food-secrets.html
I really love it. The music is great, as is the service and food. I've been for both lunch and on a small plates night, and found the food innovative and delicious. Being a keen cook, I asked the chef if he would be good enough to share his recipe for the delicious lemon and almond biscotti which he gladly did.
The place looks amazing and the food was just as great. My partner and I had breakfast here we ordered the same meal roasted vine tomatoes and avocado on gluten free toast and they made such a simple dish delicious and it was substantial and so reasonably priced. The manager was lovely and very welcoming. Great place and we'll be definitely back again.
The coffee shop has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the staff members create a welcoming environment. The coffee served is of good quality and enjoyable. The space itself has a warm and comfortable ambiance. However, it would enhance the experience if the coffee shop offered more food options, such as cakes, tiramisu, and perhaps some salads. This would provide customers with a broader selection of menu items to complement their coffee and cater to a wider range of preferences. The nuts bar was yum so.
I got to visit this local staple for the first time this week.
Multilevel areas when you walk in, with a decor that reflects today's style with elements of the buildings historical features, and an outdoor deck area in the back, you'll have plenty of choice to sit. Whether you want to hangout on your own to read the paper, meeting someone for a coffee or a group you getting together for a feed, the space accommodates for you.
Instantly greeted by smiles and warm hellos from the team, you end up getting a feeling of familiarity with them. That magic is enough to draw you back in.
Coffee is quick and great flavors & my morning wrap with a side of eggs will also entice anyone to come back and try other yums on their menu.
They have all sorts to try from and if you have something more specific or not on the menu, you'll find the team accommodating if they can help.
I look forward to visit this friendly team I feel like I've known for years, trying more geear flavors and supporting their business again.
What a wonderful early morning experience. Needed to be at Newshub studios for a TV interview so was a little stressed and wanted to be early to get parking. Delissimo opens really early - 6am and I received great service and a wonderful breakfast. The owner was friendly and had great conversation with all his patrons, creating a easy going early morning vibe. My vegetarian omelette was delicious. Well worth a visit!
Popped in quickly as I was passing by on a lunch break so couldn't stay for as long as I would have liked, but was instantly met with the warmest greeting and the most attentive service I've had in this city for a while! Food was really delicious as well, will definitely be dropping by again :)
Nice to find a cafe open early. Just a nice relaxing coffee with heaps of cinnamon but the food and menu looked delish. Will come back for food next time .SECOND VISIT🥰, sadly no time for food but the pastries enveloping the counter had me salivating into my coffee. Super friendly staff, love you guys.
Best coffee and foods in town. And lovely people and eating space. You can taste the love in the foods.
Updated on 30 Jul:
Came again and had the best Benedict eggs in my life. The chef must have some magic in turning materials into perfection and beauty. I have to admit the dish saved my soul and if you had your breakfast in Delissimo, you already won an amazing day.
Best cafe ever. The home made bread unique in texture and flavor, and their daily soup selection is sensational (with quite a lot of meat too). The owner has a nice sense of humour and is fun to talk to. Come if you want to try Macedonian food.
We came here one morning for a quick bite and a coffee. Coffee was great and we got some veggie food from the cabinet. The veggie pie was really. Refreshing to find a place that does a pretty decent veggie pie 😁
Feels like you in europe.
Not sure what the previous person talking about. They have heaps of food options including good salad
Great atmosphere, cheerful service, good food. Scrambled eggs were cooked in oil and I prefer butter but good breakfast stop.
