I’ve been here 3 times. The milk tea is excellent and so does the environment. The most important is their superb customer service, staffs are kind and friendly, made me felt fully respected. I would love to recommend Daye to all.
Ordered Daye Cheese Honeydew Frappe with 25% sugar. Surprisingly a nice combination as I’ve never tried anything like this so this was something new and refreshing. Worth a try!
Really liked their cheese foam rose oolong, not too heavy with a strong dose of rose!

Newmarket just suddenly starting have lots of milk tea shop, I actually try all of them already however daye still is my favorite ~
Highly recommend their rock melon slush with cream foam which I always order it. I do really like cream foam drink, and also tried lots of different shop’s one.
My favorite still going to be this one!!!!!
U actually can taste the green tea flavor trough the drink, go really well with the fruit~ good flavoring balance~
Haven’t try their food and dirty milk tea, but I do saw someone post their milk tea drink on the ins said is nice ~maybe next time<

Visited lunch just today. We were entertaining friends , and enjoyed everythomh. We chose to stay to study 😊. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had friendly staff. which had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. we stayed for the whole afternoon and they did not rush us. The oreo matcha cheese drink is probably one of the best i ever had. Matcha flavour is rich (just how I like my matcha), the cheese topping is thick, the oreo on top adds texture and extra sweetness, this is pretty much dessert in a cup but it's so so good. I'm guessing they used fresh milk as it's really rich and milky.
The addition of zomato gold really makes this a standout bubble tea place among its nearby competitors. Highly recommend!

Used the zomato gold to get the 2+2 drinks. Was originally $30-31 for all four but with the zomato gold it was $17. For all We ordered the four drinks:
- 1x daye Oreo cheese matcha milk tea HOT, 25% sweetness, $8.5
(I’d have to say I was disappointed a bit in this drink as I felt it was too strong on the matcha, the cheesecake just melted easily and didn’t taste as nice as the cold version, I’m not sure if it’s because it’s hot but I’ve always been ordering this at other branches and I expected it to be tasting as nice as the cold version - just balanced. I felt like there was more flavouring added and less milk)
- 1x daye oreo cheese matcha milk tea COLD, 50% sweetness, 50% ice, $8.5
(This was the best drink out of all, the cheesecake top with Oreo crumbs and flavouring was really good)
- 1x daye dirty milk tea COLD, 50% sweetness, no ice $7.5
It was my first time tasting the dirty milk tea and it’s not my type of flavour but it tasted good. Some pearls were chewy soft and nice what you would expect it to be but some were a bit hard but it was okay.
- 1x daye taro milk tea COLD, 50% sweetness, no ice, $6.5
(Did not get to taste)
For the food me and my friend ordered (both $14.8)
- 1x daye miso katsu don
- 1x daye teriyaki beef don
Both are good dishes, I just wish that there was some type of side dish like miso soup, and to lessen the sauce on the katsu don, but overall was satisfied.
I would definitely come back here when I go to new market as both food and drinks are good. I am overall satisfied with my purchase. The zomato 2+2 influenced me and my friend to get lunch and drinks at this place :)
P.S. whoever was on Thursday 9th of July had a good music track playing :)
Came in yesterday for milk tea after lunch with friends. We tried the oolong milk tea, pearl milk tea, cheese foam oreo milk tea, yoghurt tea and lychee green tea. Really liked the oolong milk tea. It was rich in milk and tea flavour and super sweet. Great place to chill, relax and catch up with friends. Keen to try the food next time.
Very cute spot hidden in new market! I got the green tea yoghurt drink with boba. Drink itself was good, however the boba was just a little hard. Decent price too
The staff is really polite, helpful and friendly. We ordered mocha milk tea, tea with cheese milk foam, and fried chicken. They are really generous and offer a thick cheese milk layer. But I can found some tea residue at the bottom. The mocha milk tea is average. Fried chicken is juicy and good taste.

Stopped by not only for bubble tea but also food. Their food menu is not as extensive as their drinks menu but they do have a fair selection.
The menu was on the counter and you order there. I then grabbed a table and they brought out the food and drinks when it was ready.
I had the taro milk tea and that was quite nice. Pearls had nice chewiness to them and the flavour of taro was there. I also had the beef oyako don and popcorn chicken. The chicken was a bit salty but went well with the don. The don was decently sized so fairly filling. The flavour of the don was alright.
There was quite a bit of seating and the tables by the wall had power and USB sockets. they also had free WiFi. It is a nice place for pearl milk tea or food, and even a place to do some work if you wanted to.
Pretty good! Place is clean. Menu boast a good selection. Price is reasonable compared to some of the newer milk tea places. Taste is not outstanding but decent. The pearls were chewy, not too soft. The cheese tops were not too thick or rich for an after meal treat. Still to try the food! 01/05

Always here for bubble tea cravings using Zomato Gold as it’s an amazing deal! Can never go wrong with the brown sugar one but their fruit teas are also quite refreshing.
Overall 3 stars ++. The Taro milktea is great but pearl is a bit not chewy. Cheese topped drinks are delicious and value for money. Chicken popcorn is not crispy but average. Staffs are friendly.
Amazing milk tea place and food! The tea is authentic and the pearls are always just right. No powder stuff, fresh milk and real tea. Absolutely love the ambience, really cool and fresh place to hang out with friends or do a bit of study.
love the food too, good flavours and really generous portions, while being really reasonably priced. 6-8 dollars for a tea, and 13-14 dollars for a big meal which feeds 1-2 people really
Went with my family and love the 3 bro TARO milk tea and Passion Fruit Yakult Green Tea. Portion is good drinks are very refreshing & flavourful. Will be going back for more.
Very tasty Cheese Pu'er Tea and Cheese Oolong Tea. I forgot to ask for no sugar and thought that it would be too sweet, but it was actually the perfect level of sweetness for my palette (quite low sugar!) Would definitely come back, especially for that sweet, sweet Zomato Gold 2+2!

Their range of teas would be one of the best I’ve seen in Auckland to be honest. I really liked the Yakult + Green Tea one. Staff are so so friendly and patient too, which is lovely since I take the longest time trying to decide what to order.
Will definitely be coming back to redeem 2+2 drinks! (omg please do not pull out of zomato gold @dayetea)
(Also another great thing is that they have accepted me using 1+1 on drinks rather than 2+2 for gold ! )
The pearl milk tea was nice, nothing too special tasted much like Gong Cha. The milk tea was reasonably priced too. It is getting ridiculous how much some teas are selling for.
I love the ambiance in this place as its a bit cozy in the middle of the busy Newmarket district. They have a wide selection of tea drinks suitable for everyone.

Came here yesterday craving bubble tea and was not disappointed. Staff were really friendly and decor was cute. Drink was delicious, I ordered a lychee green tea
Came here because of zomato gold on their drinks but only to find out their food here is pretty decent! Got the beef with rice and chicken on rice (not on menu) as recommended. Both were nice, especially the beef on rice being very moist just like how the Japanese do it. Fried chicken on rice was also flavoursome which seemed like it was mainly contributed by msg. The milk teas were okay but the food really made up for it.
With lots of tea stores opening in Newmarket this is one of my favourites. The quality and care of this tea is prevalent in the presentation (look how pretty it’s been stacked).
I’m not a big fan of the cheese topping but they use avocado.
Their standard milk teas are really good too!
The service is very good and the tea quality is much better than other chain stores. The only thing they will need to improve on is the pearls as it they are a bit Chewy
Cute little bubble tea place - 'insta-worthy' if you're into that. Delicious quick Japanese don meals that won't break the bank. The dirty milk tea was nothing special but it was still nice. Will come back for one of the cheese teas next time.

Good service, good quality food, nice environment, reasonable prices. Located outside Newmarket train station, we thought that they serve bubble teas only but they also have lunch menu, so yummy, we loved it.
Adorable tea store that does authentic teas. Love the decoration and seating. Milk tea and fruit teas are real good and does not have those artificial sugary taste. would take friends here to hang and chat and have a good time :)
Was on zomato gold so decided to go an try it out. It had an amazing atmosphere and the staff was also really friendly. He was really patient with us and recommended popular drink items to us. Would definitely come back again

Came by for lunch and our bubble tea fix as I'm an avid fan of bubble tea! The food was great, my hubby ordered a beef don and the beef was pretty good (although a tad too salty for our taste buds). Appreciated that they had plenty of veges to go along with it though. I ordered a side (fried chicken) as i wasn't feeling too hungry, and it was really good! The bubble tea was ok, Pearls were on the gooey side (not chewy or QQ texture). However the drinks were pretty worth it with the zomato gold promo. Will be on the haunt for the best bubble tea in NZ! Hope zomato can bring on board more bubble tea joints so I can explore more great bubble tea places in Auckland!

Such a decent place where's recently opened in New Market. Loved the design and decor in the cafe and drinks were nice as well. It was a $1 difference for a size upgrade, so better to get a Large size for your drink. The material of the bottles is matte surface which brings you a kinda unique feeling.

Ordered two drinks from delivery app. Cheese mango frapp tasty ok but cheaper than another popular teashop at new market. Osmanthus oolong tea is quite nice, not too sweet and got the special smell form osmanthus.
By far the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Exceeded my expectations. The staff noticed that I was having difficulty mixing my cheese topping with the drink so he approached me and offered to do it instead. The drink needs some improvement though 😉
Great place to hang out. Taste is different from other tea shops so it makes it unique with some fruity taste. They also offer a limited food and snacks.

I’m not sure why they are opening so many tea places in New Market.
This place tasted great, atmosphere, interior design was great.
Staff were friendly enough to recommend drinks for me and they were right for me.
I’m willing to go try their other menus one day.
This review is based on their tea only which was surprisingly good. I had the Puer tea with milk foam and tapioca pearls. Puer tea was well brewed and pearls were perfection. Their milk foam is kind of foamy which I’m not a big fan of. I prefer the smooth milk foams.

With all the bubble tea places in Newmarket, when I saw Daye Tea opening, my first reaction was "not again - let's go."
The menu is fairly similar to its high end competitors (think: Wu Cha, Tiger Sugar) and the prices are about the same if not a litttttle bit cheaper.
The drinks taste a lot better than their competitors though! Not watered-down, and the pearls are perfectly chewy and not too sweet.
The ambiance of the place is also very nice - doesn't feel too cramped and the chairs are nice so you can sit for a while and chat.
Service is pretty good - drinks took a little while to come out but it was worth the little wait. Staff were friendly and helpful when explaining what the magic beans (basically exploding pearls with concentrated fruit juice inside) were.
Will be back again if I'm craving some "fancier" milk tea :)

New tea shop in Newmarket near the train station. Not that too busy as they are just new but tried their Mango Green tea and it's quite nice. It's different and more fruity taste compaired to other tea shops. Comfy seats too. They also sell some snacks which is nice

Absolutely the best around, in love with their pearl milk tea & cheese tea, it’s hard to find places that doesn’t contain artificial add ins anymore everything is fresh from the tap! And they use milk instead of milk powder. Also Im surprised with the food there, really recommend
