The sour spicy and Baidu noodles were really amazing. Handmade dumplings were tasty and unique. Very friendly host came to talk to us and let me practice my Chinese to order. Big portions.

This place is absolutely lovely. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious. Love the dumplings; great filling ratio. The beef braised noodles and beef fried rice had great flavour. Will definitely be back and we highly recommend!
We popped into Baifu on a bit of a whim and in a very hungry state. The welcome was excellent, the lady greeting us was very cheery and quickly explained the menu to us, including the option to mix up our dumpling orders with half of one kind and half of another. Great way to try a variety. We all loved our food, full of flavour and well-priced. My tip is to go for the spicy sour soup with your dumplings - truly delicious and gives them an extra dimension. My new fave dumpling and noodle place in Auckland. Well done Baifu!!

I'm so glad I work around Newmarket, these are honestly the best dumplings I have in NZ, every time! My family used to make dumplings every week and Baifu just tastes like home.

Ordered the Mapo Tofu on rice and was so so good! Aromatic, spicy and the Sichuan pepper does have the numbing effect which I didn’t mind at all! I would definitely recommend this and can’t wait to try other dishes:)
Also the lady there was extremely nice that alone made me feel very welcome.
Ordered the beef noodle soup as per other user's review and wow, the broth was mind-blowingly delicious! Kinda gutted that I didn't give this place a go earlier, but also happy that I rediscovered them while browsing for a gold option around here.
This is my first time having such a creamy broth in a Chinese noodle soup dish! Bonus that it wasn't too oily or salty.
100% can confirm that the lady owner is super friendly and you can see that she puts her heart into this restaurant.

This is an outstanding Chinese dumpling place. Very fresh and delicious food. Always well presented and fresh. I seriously cannot believe how under-rated this place is! Definitely deserves a higher rating.
Went for lunch here all because the lovely lady working came outside and encouraged us to give it a go, and I was so glad that I did!
As soon as you sit down you feel like you're in her home, you can feel the love she has for her food as she speaks to you. I got their $10.80 Tasty Spicy Noodles which I really enjoyed. It's a cold dish with a spicy nutty flavour and some delicious crunchy textures. My friend got the spicy sherperds purse and pork mince wontons which he really enjoyed also.

We both left after an excellent lunch, very satisfied.

Best dumplings I've had in NZ, tranditional Chinese dumplings. The restaurant service is also good!
Went here for dinner with family recently and tried their pork and cabbage dumplings and pork and chives dumplings. They were good portioned and tasted great! We also ordered spicy noodles, beef noodles and black bean noodles- which were a new addition to the menu. We were told the noodles were handmade and they were so delicious. I especially enjoyed the spicy noodles- which were cold and had a nice spicy peanut flavour. Service was lovely and everything was decently priced so I will definitely come back again!

Fantastic dumplings, definitely better than most dumpling places in Auckland. Great ingredients and pan fried, boiled, or steamed to perfection. Excellent service and the prices here are very affordable and much more reasonable than far inferior dumpling restaurants! Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our few outings here. They have recently added noodles to the menu and they are as good as the jiaozi.
Last meal, 2 bowls of noodles and a plate of pork and chive jiaozi, total NZD37/ including tea and a coke. Top food, top value.
I had the pork and chives; and lamb and coriander dumplings - I liked how you can get two flavours under a single order. Yum! Friendly and helpful staff as well.
Heard from my friends that there was a newly opened dumpling shop in the area, personally I am a huge fan of chinese food and knew that I had to try it ; Did not disappoint! Interior design of shop is comfortable and is an enjoyable t place to dine. Was pleasantly suprised after finding out that I could order to flavours of dumplings at one time. A plate usually has 18 pieces and the owner told me that I could choose 9 dumplings of one flavour and 9 of another type, was excited at this news and decided to go with Lamb and coriander / Pork and Sauerkraut. Dumplings were delicous! Defintiely my go to place during my lunch break to takeaway or a nice place to dine in for dinner with my family.
The dumplings are all hand made. I have to say it is exactly like what I eat at home. The service probably is best one compare to others. The boss even sited with us and chatted for 30 mins to describe their idea for making these dumplings. Slide dish free for refilling until we said enough. Highly recommend the fish one.
Parents love buying dumplings from here. There are so many different types. We always buy extra to take home for lunch the next day. Wouldn't recommend the mussel dumplings but if you like mussel, go for it. Other dumplings taste delicious. Owners seem friendly too.
This is the best dumplings place in New Zealand. Everything tastes amazing, the owners are very friendly and the value for money is unbelievable. I haven't had dumplings this good since I was in Singapore. I highly recommend the fish and chive.
Went a couple of days ago and the food was amazing and is at an affordable price. It is a newly opened store and is nicely organised with cute ornaments. The lady was very nice and made me feel very welcomed! I was able to finish three plates of dumplings with two of my friends and the side dish of beef slices was also very refreshing.
This place was really good and the owner was super friendly. We got the beef and onion pan fried dumplings. It’s lovely to see a quality Chinese place that doesn’t add msg and doesn’t have food that is swimming in oil. Also, wonderful decor. Definitely bringing my friends here, thanks Baifu Dumplings ;)
BaiFu Dumplings in Newmarket was a wonderful find for lunchtime dumplings on a Sunday afternoon. The service was exceptional as the staff was so warm and friendly and most accommodating with informing me on the different food items and making excellent recommendations.
I tried the spicy noodles extra hot with a combination of steamed pork and chives and pork and cabbage dumplings. The food was amazing and the dumplings were particularly impressive! I shall visit again without doubt. Highly recommended!

Hands down the best dumplings I've ever had in NZ! Big selection of flavours including the extremely rare lamb ones. The place is stylish and very clean. Good for family dinners out. As an added bonus they also sell frozen dumplings, so you'll never run out of goodness at home :). Totally worth a visit and highly recommended! A+++
This was an accidental find for my husband and I. It seemed like a great place to get quick bite on a wet Wednesday night. We ordered the pork and cabbage dumplings which were amazing. Their chicken and beef dishes were delicious too. It’s an authentic establishment wth homely comfort food. It’s probably has become our favourite dumpling place now. Keep up the food work guys.
Tasty dumplings! My friend ordered Lemon chicken which was well flavoured but would recommend to eat with rice or as a share dish. I ordered Bianfu Noodles, although the taste was good I didn't realise they are cold noodles so I wouldn't get them again as I prefer hot noodles! Otherwise, I would definitely eat there again, service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and presentable. Would happily dine here again. :)

This is one of the more authentic dumpling places in Auckland. The dumpling skin is not overly thick as it is in many restaurants, the filling is generous and of excellent quality, and their steamed, boiled and pan fried dumplings are all equally good. Also, their prices are much more reasonable than far inferior dumpling places and the service is great. Highly recommend.
Love it. Been a couple of times now and I really enjoy the dumplings, both in spicy soup and alone. I also really like the décor / ambience (kind of old world classy), laid back music and friendly staff. Will make this a regular lunch spot.
