Lovely gem hidden in parnell which offers very good indian food with a difference. We had ordered quite a few items as we were a big group but would like to share the dishes we had were Onion Pakora for starters, Saffron Kofta Curry and Kadai Paneer with garlic naan for mains. The mains were amazing. The kadai paneer was very different and quite authentic. The saffron kofta curry was very flavourful and fragrant, koftas were simply outstanding and melted in your mouth with curry not being on heavy side, very subtle. Garlic naans could’ve been better as they were pretty average.
We also tried different ice-creams (mango, figs, paan and rose) which were really great. Definitely a place to visit again.

The menu is unique, the dishes all have a slight twist to the normal Indian restaurants, me and my wife enjoyed the food and want to go back to try the other dishes. Service was slow but all I care about is the food, service you can improve on guys, get off the phone and pay a bit more attention to the patrons in the restaurant, walk around from time to time. Desert was very flavourful, the paan kulfi is a must try!
Been to this place and tried Wada Pav, Pav Bhaji, Melting lamb kebabs, Chicken Tikka, Subi's Ice-cream and the food was just heavenly!! Service was great too. Makarnd and his team are very welcoming and give personal attention towards their customers. Absolutely mesmerised by the presentation and the taste is equally great. Pricing is reasonable too. We will definitely be visiting again.
After checking google we went in for a Saturday night dinner with the family ... recently opened... the food was amazing! To die for! Would definitely recommend to try out! The service was excellent from the Chef and Foh member really friendly and knew what she was talking about!! See you again
Went for family dinner last night, the Fantastic food & fantastic hospitality from the restaurant owner/chef and staff just made the experience one of the best we have had. Will need to make a special trip next time just for the desert. Overall great balance of traditional flavours with a twist of gastronomy.
I would like to choose 5 stars! Everything was so beautiful and perfect, I have never tried tamra rasa before but friendly staff explained about it and the chef did his best👍🏻👍🏻 so yummy ! I love Indian food but this was like marathi style , so yummy.
My belly felt very merry after that meal. Great new addition to the Parnell food scene. Their dessert Puri was surprising twist to you conventional Indian food (I won't ruin the surprise). If you're a fan of trying new Indian restaurants, this one should be on your list!

Yes you read that right. Food here is brilliant. I would say this one serves one of the greatest tasting food, means better than what I have had in India till date. The quantity and quality both are very good.

Excellent food with absolute great service. The head chef is a great guy and came out to chat to us! Entrees and desserts are the best, get the creme brulee.
We had lunch there and the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Great use of spices to produce full flavours. Very friendly staff with good explanations of how each dish was created. I do think though that the introduction of white table cloths would help lift the interior and add to the ambiance, after all this is Parnell.
Every entree is a delight to the eye and then an explosion of tastes and textures for the taste buds. Chef Makarand shines in his little restaurant in Parnell. Food is creative, playful and shows signs of pure genius.
At the same time he ensures the authentic Indian taste was reflected in every dish. The mains were also really good, tambda rassa was the star dish with varkhee roti.
Staff and the chef were friendly.

Amazing food, Not your usual Indian restaurant. Mouth watering melting lamb, Fish fry and the desserts were simply out of the world. Must try this restaurant. Thanks to Chef Mac.
Delicious food from start to finish. Usually, entrees are really good, but are disappointing when it comes to mains and dessert, but this was both a visual and gastronomical treat. The lamb kebab hubby ordered was just melt in your mouth, as was his lamb rack curry. My ragda Pattice was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with authentic flavour, and I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken curry I ordered for my main. The chocolate mousse puri and gulag jamun creme brûlée were a perfect finish to our meal. Left the restaurant very happy 😊
A new Indian offering in Parnell and with stiff competition already along the strip they have decided to do it a bit differently...........and it works a treat. The food and service were excellent and whilst the decor is a little drab, we go for the food every time. Love the s_x chicken, really delicious and love to see the chef delivering some courses and explaining the dish.

Been to Merry Mumbai for dinner, I have only one word to say outstanding food. This place is beyond everyone. Had Dahi puri, pav bhaji ,mushroom Khichadi and brulé in dessert. Dahi puri and vada pav was exceptional. It remind me the taste of Mumbai vada pav and chaupati item. Khichadi was presented nicely and tasty too. Amazing flavour and taste combination in a food. Gulabjam brulé was the best thing. It was nicely presented and which also satisfy my palate. This place is doing excellent food with gastronomy . they are doing excellent food with satisfy taste. I will recommend this place to everyone. I am definitely going to visit this place for sure. Thank you #MerryMumbai

Merry Mumbai, is an awesome place. Call it more of a Culinary Design Studio, because of the gastronomic drama that accompanies traditional Indian food. Not to mention that the food served here is simply delectable! :)
Food is perhaps the one thing that brings about a convergence of all five senses. Even ancient scriptures state that one must enjoy the food utilizing all five senses. That is precisely what Merry Mumbai captivates off you - the aroma, the visual drama, the hot sizzles, the texture and then the taste - deliciousness served up in every bite.
Service could have been better probably being a new start up feels a bit understaffed. Having said that the food on the other hand, is just impeccable, the taste just lingers on your taste buds.

Ice Creams are goods. Flavours from India such as Paan, Kesar Pista, etc. The flavours are not over powering, just right. Would like if a second stronger version of Paan flavour is available as an alternative, as served in many 5 star hotels in India.
