This place is the real deal. A place where community comes together! Best coffee in the west by far!!

Brilliant local cafe! Only a short walk from home.
Great coffee and the cookies are to die for too!
You don't make a bad coffee Jason!

Just happened to drive past and glad I did! Best coffee I've had in aaagges ☺ really nice guy and a top notch latte lol
Best Local Coffee (and fluffies) around! Well done Jason!
Love Sozo Coffee, really impressed with Jason's service and door-to-door delivery! Thanks for the freshest coffee I have ever tasted!!!
We have bought coffee beans to try, beautiful coffee. We look forward to going to our local cafe soon!!
Love this place. Great coffee, great food, friendly staff who remember your order, nice locals and atmosphere, decent pricing and money for each coffee gets donated to an orphanage in India. . .
Food is simple but always good, dont think I've ever had something I didn't like. . . and have tried most the menu/ cabinet food
Love this local cafe. Always made to feel welcome. A great community atmosphere with loads of locals who can sit outside and bring their dogs should they wish. Great area inside for children. Plus they make the best scones in West Auckland and great freshly roasted coffee. Highly recommended.
great service amazing food and it easy to get to but there is not much parking and cars tend to block the street but apart from that, it is an amazing café with delicious vege tarts, caramel and oat slice and amazing hot chocolates and I also love that you can bring your dog there and sit outside overall I would rate this place 4 and a half stars .
Called in to grab a coffee after dropping a child at school didn’t expect much as it’s a tiny place, but couldn’t resist one of their home-made scrolls. It was divine! Feta cheese, carrot, pesto just Yum (oh and the coffee was great to).
Awesome coffee. Good to see it's getting busier. Some awesome slices and food on offer, although one slice I had tasted stale with that 'fridge' taste. Lovely owner and staff
Biggest Little Local
A local own business promoting good fresh coffee made and roasted in this very cafe. Owned by a couple who also own a children's home in India that they helped build.
The food, coffee, beans and other little things you buy help keep this children's home open, helps feed, clothe and support the kids in this very Children's home.
Not only do they selflessly help others but their coffee has the Fair Trade mark as well. When you know you are helping kids in India, business overseas with their coffee you know you're eating and drinking right. A warm cafe with a lot of knick knacks, old coffee pots, national geographic magazines, plants and much more to keep you in a trance while you wait for your food and coffee. Also provided for parents is a place where you can sit your kids with toys to keep them distracted while you enjoy your meal or coffee. Good place for mothers, fathers grandparents or any other other members of the family looking after kids.
The last three visits have I've had a flat white, mocha and cappuccino. All great coffee priced from $3.50 for a small to $4.50-$5.00 for a large.
Also for breakfast had the Pulled Pork on Waffles(potato based Waffles) with Coleslaw, apple sauce and BBQ sauce added to the Pulled Pork. What was even better is they bring over a bottle of hot sauce to give that meal an extra kick which I really enjoyed.
Last but not least when you go to a cafe you need something sweet to hit the spot. Had the Yoyo with I think it was a passion fruit cream centre plus had to try the caramel brownie(for the wife). The yoyo reminded me of my Nana's yoyo's she use to bake when I was a kid, a trip down memory lane and the brownie with caramel chucks so good that you want more. Overall it has been a great few visits and you know I'll be back!
I’ve been on a mission to try as many cafes in West Auckland since moving here and this would have to be one of my all time favourites. The coffee is great each time, and to boot the general vibes are awesome. The staff are always chatty and happy in an authentic unforced way and the place is always humming (but not annoyingly overpacked) where you can people watch or just while away time chatting with friends or scrolling your phone (take your pick). The cool decor adds to the vibe and the fact that it’s situated in an off-the-path location but is always busy says a lot. If you appreciate coffee and cafes that are not franchises this is it. Closest thing to the renowned cool eclectic Welly cafes. Chuffed to have them in my neighbourhood!
This is now, my favorite coffee. So good. Definitely be back and was interested in the art and workshops! Great community spot.
Yummy food. Lovely staff. Great relaxed vibe!
Photos; zucchini slice w parmeasn and feta cheese, colslaw with a yummy dressing and toasted almond flakes, and peach n custard slice, and a peanut brownie bikie! Which was bagged to take home but never made it!
This is a terrific, community focused cafe offering great coffee and delicious food, very reasonably priced. It has a wonderful, friendly vibe. The staff are so welcoming and the service is excellent.
Only good things to share about this joint.
Highly recommend👌
Really good coffee, they roast their own in the shop! Nice atmosphere, rustic I guess you could call it. Great friendly staff. Many Customers are local regulars- a real family feeling. And the food -wow, great price and taste, not to mention it looks amazing too!
Nice little café in Glen Eden. Saturday brunch with the family will not break the bank. Staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is eclectic. Clean and nice premises. Try the oinc sandwich or the waffles. Cabinet food is also delicious. 👌
Great coffee in the west. The staff were friendly and the prices of the actual coffee itself was so worth it. Love how they roast the coffee themselves. I recommend the grilled cheese and the cheese scone
Delicious food and coffee, and super affordable! Great service and love why they do what they do.
Amazing cafe, hidden spot, great coffee and nice food, no fancy decor but so warm and cosy. The most marvellous thing is the owner runs this lovely cafe to support his orphanage in India. LOVE IT 💕
Perfect coffee and the best poached eggs and bacon I have had loooong time! - simple food done exceptionally well. And very reasonably priced. Sozo is a real gem out west
