What an absolutely AMAZING place. Very friendly and helpful owners and nice little shop comfortable seating. All the food here is awesome. The lamb Bunny Chow is totally authentic and delicious. What a find! Well worth the trip from central Auckland and we will come here every time we visit. They totally deserve ALL the superb reviews they've got here. A first class spot!

Authentic South African curries are truly divine. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The flavors are rich and the spices are perfectly balanced, creating a truly authentic culinary experience. If you are a fan of spicy dishes, this restaurant offers a wide range of options to suit every palate. The service is exceptional, with friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to assist.

Ordered take out - absolutely divine, took me back to my childhood memories of really good food. I ordered (8!!) of the beef samoosas and a boerewors (hot dog). Thank you - delicious and we'll be back. Highly recommended 👌

You will not get a better crab curry anywhere else. It is absolutely delicious and so is the rest of their food. Wonderful people and great service.

We stopped in yesterday to grab a takeaway lamb bunny chow, a chicken curry with rice and a peppermint crisp tart. All were very delicious and as good as the best food we’ve had in Durban over the years. The service was friendly and efficient too. Even though it’s a 15-20 minute trip to get there normally (yesterday we had come from Long Bay nearby), we will look to get food from here regularly 🙂

FB messaged them for details quick response. Ordered over messenger. Picked up at 1pm. Lovely lady had the food ready to go. The samosas come with 3 different fillings: beef, potato & corn n cheese. We got the beef samosas & the potato ones. Both were fresh, perfect ratio of filling to pastry & perfect spice level. My partner who is kiwi found it right for his spice level. The bunny chow had so much meat in it & the gravy was perfectly soaked in the bread. The gravy was so flavorful & it’s the best I’ve had. My partner loved his masala steak shawarma too. He did have to add some yoghurt as it was a teensy bit too spicy for him. They do contactless pickup. Order before you go as they are super busy. Definitely will be back

The staff was fantastic to talk through different choices, as I haven’t had the South African variations on these dishes before. Clean, and well-presented as well.
