Delicious and interesting flavours. We tried the Flight@$14 for 8 small scoops and 2 wafers. Good to share. My favourite flavours were Ambrosia, Lemon Poppy Seed, Pecan butterscotch and Mango Passionfruit sorbet to wash the palette. Yum!
Had ice cream here for dessert as part of the staff send away tonight. The servings were generous. Price was ok. Interiors very clean and really spacious for an ice cream parlor. Service from staff is very attentive. I didn't have much ice cream though as it was still cold outside. Still at the tail

Highly recommend the pecan butterscotch flavour. Pure smokey, nutty deliciousness. They don't seem to have a lot of lighter/sorbets.
Best ice cream ( gelato) in AKL/NZ! Quality is high and the vibe is great too!!

Best value for money ice cream I have ever come upon in a creamery
First visit today, lot of seating and great ice creams. A single scoop is equivalent to two scoops so can choose two flavors in a scoop. It was quite heavy for me as I didn’t choose multiple flavors. My wife had ambrosia(was gluten free- light and amazing). My daughters fairy bread along with the fu

I visited whilst waiting for my mum having her haircut. When I picked her up, I was finishing off the last bite of the cone. I told her how yummy it was and it prompted her to ask for one.

10/10 their earl grey orange and marmalade is the best ice cream flavour I've ever had. I'll be back for more until it's gone. Please make it a staple!
Tried out the Feijoa and Hummus flavours. The Feijoa one was so good, you could even taste the grainy pieces of the fruit. The Hummus one was a bit too adventurous for me, especially with the cumin seeds inside.

I have been to the other store in Ponsonby and only just realised there was another store here. I can't say enough good things about Duck Island. They've got some really good flavours for really good prices. Also, they don't give you too much, so I don't go away feeling guilty about treating myself.
Nice Ice cream and I like the vanilla flavor. The portion is also quite good. They do allow you taste a few to decide which one you like better which is a plus too.
Supporting local if that’s your thing.
The store can be crowded if you visit after lunch time.
It is very unique and modern place to have an ice cream. The price is reasonable. Taste is good. Highly recommend.
Duck Island is a great place to wander in on a nice evening. Really good customer service with loads of icecream flavours to try before you buy.
The range of flavours were really unique and not the typical ones you come across usually (some classics are there though!)

Yummy flavours and a good price, way better than movenpick or Ben and Jerry’s and way under what you would pay there $15 for three ice creams!
