What a great day out in the sun. We sat outside near the ping pong table, sand pit and connect 4. Perfect for our children to play. Service was efficient and friendly. Food came out quickly and worked well with our large group (20) ordering at different times. Good selection of drinks. The manger was friendly and accommodating. There was a live 3 piece jazz band inside that added to the atmosphere. Thanks for making our Xmas get-together a success

Awesome Sunday afternoon lunch. Live jazz band, neat vibe, all our meals were delicious and the staff were friendly. The garden bar is charming..there's even a long slide for the kids. Our dog loved the fries...as did the humans. The beetroot dish was a work of art. The pizzas, burgers and snapper were all tasty. Was a bit concerned after reading previous reviews but all round we had an A+ experience.

JalapeΓ±o poppers , definatly the best I've ever had! Tasty and nice and fresh and hot πŸ™‚. Skin on fries were yummy too. We had a few tasting paddles and tried most of the brews on the menu. Was impressed with "the clevdon village larger" & "Mr Yakimito Rice larger. Also tried the whisky, would highly recommend the "Thompson whisky 2tone". Will definitely return here. πŸ™‚πŸ€©

I had a lunch with my friend at a Farm house Deli Cafe. We stopped by for beer. It was so fresh beer while chatting friend. Unlike in summer there were enough seats and sat outside with heater on. We lost track of time chatted. It was a great place.

Hallertau Clevedon is a nice place for a get together πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ I was one of the first patrons to enter, but it got real busy real quick πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ They have several award winning craft, and artisan beers, ales, ciders, etc. on tap that you can buy by the glass, jug, or as part of a 100ml tasting paddle 🍺🍻 They also have a great wine list 🍷 and non alcoholic beverages as well 🍹 The main area is set in an enclosed courtyard, that became very cozy once they lit the fire πŸ”₯ There is a big outdoor area, as well as an intimate inside area. They have a menu with all the crowd favourites like burgers πŸ” pizza πŸ• and fish and chips 🍟 but I just had to get their jalapeno poppers, which didn't disappoint 🌢

This place is totally amazing! Great food, great drinks and great services! Even the kids fish and chips is amazing (try the aioli). Also there's a Tesla charger outside. 😱 😱 😱 bonus!

Buzzing craft brewery and restaurant with a large beer garden. Great food and brews that are fairly pricey but expected for a crafty / trendy place. We came during a busy Saturday lunch and the staff were fairy aloof when we asked for a high-chair and had to be asked again but were great otherwise

We had our 40th anniversary celebration with our friends. Everyone enjoyed the shared menu. Henry was great! Will be back for sure. All the staff are awesome.

Great menu choices, but I was quite shocked by how small the portions were for the price. The capesse salad was basically the equivalent of one tomato and four little splats of cheese.... my friend had the gnocchi and it was a very small portion as well. Food tasted great though, service was good, and lots of great drink choices!

beautiful location and a huge thank you for squeezing in our group that came without a reservation. We ordered a bunch of food, enjoyed the little donut bits with the steak that came. The jalapeno poppers were tasty, potatoes with aoili, and the oysters were nice. Pizza was okay but the beer paddles seemed a bit small for the price. Overall had a pretty good experience and would definitely visit again.

Went here yesterday with a group of mates. Great place will definitely be back. The only downfall was it seemed like they were a little short staffed as they were busy. We had to keep asking for drinks, or extra meals etc. No one I suppose had time to follow up on our table. Loved the fried chicken. The beef Skewers were on a chewy/fatty side. JalapeΓ±o poppers the best!!! But will definitely be back!!

Great ambiance, great food, great drinks! Hallertau was recommended to me from my sweet Airbnb host and I’m glad I decided to stop by. Immediately walking in the staff was very friendly. I thankfully did not need a reservation and decided to sit in β€œthe garden” Biergarten which was a fantastic choice! The outside area is so charming with comfortable little tables perfectly spaced apart from others. It was quite chilly for me being that I am from hot and sunny California but I was happy to see they offered blankets! So kind! After sitting down I went to the bar and ordered a tasting paddle of three gins and one whiskey all distilled on property! I was in HEAVEN. All 3 of the gins and the one whiskey were delicious but the heavy botanical gin was my favorite. I ordered the wood fired Brie which came out beautifully topped with honey, walnuts, and rosemary.. I ate every bite.. and I would do it again! So very delicious. The restaurant got quite busy so to us being a holiday (queens memorial) but it never took away from the beautiful experience that is Hallertau. Hope to be back again one day!

Nice ambience, just like in Riverhead. Very good food. Excellent fresh craft beer - but totally spoilt by an excessive amount of carbon dioxide on the tap. No wonder NZ almost ran out of it not so long ago. Not the only pub to do this unfortunately - shame.
