We came for lunch last weekend and we enjoyed the atmosphere and harbour view. We had the mussels and mushrooms as entrees. Both entrees were delicious. For mains, we ordered the duck and eye fillet. The potato side dish is a must. The citrus dessert was a stand-out.

We booked Onemata for lunch and had the 2-course and 3-course meals and had the most wonderful time. Perfect food, service and atmosphere. It was also my parent’s 30th wedding anniversary and they had prepared an extra dessert with ‘Congratulations’ on it. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality - We will be back very soon!

We enjoyed a sumptuous degustation dinner paired with Craggy Range wines. Flavours of the food and the winemaker’s description of the wines were amazing and would highly recommend the restaurant and winery to any local or visitor to Auckland or the winery in Napier!

Amazing food in general although one dish which is fish of the day could have been done better. Was not as fresh as expected. Other than that no complaints 👌

Visited during Restaurant month for lunch to take advantage of their $55 menu. Tried the Mushroom and Mozzarella dish and the Braised Short Rib with a glass of Craggy Range Te Kahu. Whilst the mushroom dish was nice, the mozzarella was merely a foam which was strange but the overall flavour was good, just nothing special. The braised short rib unfortunately let them down. I’ve never had such tough short rib before. It was a struggle to get the meat off the bone. The parsnip purée and other components really worked so taste wise it was lovely but I really wished I had ordered the duck as I was expecting a tender melt in your mouth experience which they did not deliver.

Delicious lunch over the weekend and the burrata & tomato was awesome! Lamb rump was very tender.

This place was an amazing experience. The service was spectacular, the restaurant is very well put together with a lovely interior, you have a nice outlook onto the viaduct and the food was fantastic. I am normally plant based but I couldn't resist the temptation of cheating at a place like this. In doing so, I had very high expectations for my steak and it didn't disappoint, it was a lovely cut and cooked to perfection. I'm sure that the plant based options would also be spectacular! Thanks the team at Onemata 😊

Great looking venue in a beautiful hotel. The service was superb. The attention we got was terrific. The food was really good. The menu was extensive. The oysters and the steaks and the fish were all excellent. The desserts were so good you should eat those first.

Absolutely beautiful! Service is absolutely top notch, certainly the best I’ve enjoyed in Auckland. Guest names, coffee preference at breakfast are all remembered for subsequent mornings, the food at breakfast was fab. Dinner even better !! Those oysters…. WOW. The wine list…. WOW!!

We had a girls night out dinner here and the food portions were pretty good in my opinion. I had the salmon dish and it was delicious! The environment and atmosphere is nice and the staff were helpful and polite. We loved our visit here.

Great services but very crowded and a bit too noisy. Not as comfortable as you’d expect from a restaurant inside Park Hyatt. The food was great but not very memorable. I thought the fish was a bit dull.

Beautiful gourmet dining experience. Every detail is taken care of - the interior design, light, music, great leather sofas and unparalleled views to the marina and the promenade. The menu is concise which is helpful as it is much easier to chose from. Great wine list with plenty of NZ wimes and whiskies to chose from. Great friendly service with a smile.

Great meal and service at Onemata! We came for an early dinner over the weekend and we were very happy with the food. We shared the charcuterie board and oysters for starters. The truffle mascarpone with the charcuterie was lovely. Unfortunately we ordered Bluff oysters which was at the end of the season so they were small and skinny. For mains, we order steak, salmon, clam spaghetti and scampi risotto. The potato salad side is a must!

Visited Onemata last night for dinner, I would have to say it was absolutely amazing. The ambiance, service and especially the meals were amazing. I would highly recommend anyone to visit Onemata. I would also recommend getting the mussels, the lamb and the salmon! Full of flavour! Loved it so much.

Onemata is a lovely place to eat. Visited as I’ve heard good things from a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was nicely thought out and well balanced. Service was attentive and helpful. Atmosphere and view was lovely especially during lunch time as you can see the harbour and skyline. A must visit for anyone looking to have a relaxing and enjoyable lunch or dinning experience!
