Saw the pretty pictures of dessert, so came to check this place out and chat with a friend - the waffles were delicious and very pretty! Our one point of feedback would be that it'd be nice if the waffles and banana were just a tad warmer :) it is not a big place and the seating was slightly cramped in a few places, maybe to try fit in more people.. but the decor was nice - the dried flowers are a nice touch. And the lady who served us was lovely. Great time!

We went there last week and trust me the Le waffle were amazing. Specially there was no smell of eggs in the waffle as I cannot handle the smell of eggs and I asked the guy and he reassured me that I won’t be able to smell eggs at all. Best customer service with a nice smile.
Well-appointed, clean and cosy place to spend time on a winter evening. Right next to the bus stop, very convenient location. Good selection of vegan desserts and non-dairy milk. They have PayWave too. It’s one of those “open till late” places that don’t just kick you out when the clock strikes 8, and I loved that laid-back vibe. Would definitely come again whenever I have a spare minute in Ponsonby/Grey Lynn.

Lovely vibes and gorgeous decor, located right across from Posonby Central. We stopped in for dessert and drinks on Christmas Eve, and were greeted with the warmest serving. We had delectable tiramisu and a dark chocolate passionfruit confections. My husband’s long black was perfectly brewed, and I had a delicious fruit tea served in an adorable teapot. They even surprised my baby with a macaron snowman treat. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about this place!
Right at the heart of Ponsonby this place has an amazing ambience and fantastically diligent staff. We had Le Waffle with caramelized banana and vanilla ice cream - a must try at Dahlia.
This place has the best desserts! I need to come here more often to be honest...so good. Every single dessert I have tried has not disappointed. Love Dahlia and the staff.
