Went for brunch and everything was delicious! They were upfront and let us know they were short staffed so despite it being a lil slow at least we had the heads up. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals- I had the highly recommended eggs Benedict with fried chicken and it's just as good as everyone says. Would return to this busy local cafe tucked away in the burbs!

Was here just to grab a quick coffee with friends, when we came its already late around 2.45ish, the cafe was full bcs there’s birthday event but the guy who assist us really kind by gave us space in the corner room (feels like we’ve a business meeting 😂) kitchen close at 3.30PM but we got 2 sweets from display, Chocolate Hazelnut & Lemon Coconut cake! All of us love the Chocolate Hazelnut than the Lemon Coconut since I think it was kinda too sweet for our taste. The chocolate cake was so nice & gooey but not to overwhelmed, best match with coffee or tea! We love the atmosphere in here for sure, really warm, cute & simple. Their friendly service was really appreciated. If we are around we def back to try their main menu for sure 😊

Staff was super friendly and were happy to help with recommendations. The food is boss! The pork belly is to die for. And parking is not too bad

Fabulous menu and baking. I had the Dear Jane vege breakfast and it exceeded expectations. Very generous portions. It's a nice big spacious café with a covered courtyard at the back. Two minutes walk from Baldwin Ave station so easily accessible by train.

Their turmeric latté is the best, you know you are drinking real turmeric not some instant turmeric powder that some other cafés do. It’s authentic and strong, just perfect. If you don’t like the real taste of turmeric then you might not enjoy it. I just wish it comes in a big mug lol. I ordered the vegan tofu as my main. It’s tasty but the bread was too small, overall it’s not very filling considering the price. I’d be back next time I’m in the area for the turmeric latte and would like to try the matcha too. Overall I recommend this cute local café if you’re in the area.

Dear Jane Cafe has been our go-to cafe for a while, they offer delicious food and great service. Hiromi was really happy and helpful, and Jackie always makes us great coffee. We had the vietnamese beef pho which was good, the fried chicken eggs benny and mango pancakes. Their fried chicken has always been my favourite, from the crunch to the tender, juicy chicken, eggs perfectly poached and yummy fresh hollandaise, and the mango pancakes really fresh and fluffy, with fruits, mascarpone and a really lovely mango curd. We come here often, and can definitely say that it’s a solid favourite. If you want great food, good portions and a really relaxed, cool vibe, I’d definitely say it’s worth a visit or two. Oh, and say hi to the chefs-they’re really nice too.

Always a very busy place. Staff are very friendly. Sesame charcoal drink is like a meal in itself. Delicious. Also loved the salad. The chicken had a grilled taste to it- yum! And the rest of the food I ordered were very delicious, too. Get the nasi goreng!!!! Sooooo delicious!!!! That shrimp paste was just perfect!!!

A funky cafe in a residential area of Mt Albert. I only tried a chai latte & a scone this time. They were both delicious. Staff were all friendly. My friend who comes here often said that their meals are also fantastic😌 Would love to try more food next time!

Had a business meeting with Wool New Zealand. Great destination to meet with the yummiest menu. A private room that is also open. Hopefully we can pull NZ Wool strategically forward. I didn't share too many ideas as they're always stolen. Watch this space. Brunch was enormous.

We finally found a place that does amazing coffee locally. The staff were friendly and polite, plenty of seating options , restrooms were clean and the place was immaculate. The food was delicious and presented nicely. We had Tofu scramble and coffees both hot and iced. They really know how to texturing their soy milk here which is a blessing. Would love them to have more Vegan options and maybe Vegan options in the cabinet food to take away, otherwise delicious. We also tried the Sage juice which is so yummy and real tasty if you like tart things like I do. See you again soon team ❤
