Very nice place with great pastries and sandwiches.
A very nicely converted building with high ceiling and wooden beam. Tables and surrounding feels spacious. There's a long table at the front.
Pastries are quite nice with lots of varieties, same with the sandwiches the reuban sandwich was particularly nice for me.
There are lots of loaves to buy which Daily Bread are also famous for (sourdough).
UPDATED 20/08/23
They have just opened up their new area and WOW it is amazing!!
Highly recommend the following:
TOMATO & CUCUMBER BAGEL
SALMON BAGEL WITH PICKLED EGG
CORN CHEESE SANDWICH
The interior is modern and the area is very spacious with high ceilings. The distance between the neighbouring tables are distanced away (unlike other cafes).
The flatwhite was delicious, just like the other daily bread stores.
Staff were friendly and they were very attentative.
Will be back!!

Great spot for coffee on the go. They serve supreme coffee, which always is a great combination as a flat white.
The interior is pleasant to be in with high ceilings and brick walls around.
It is located within the ground floor lobby of offices, hence limited seating around. However there are plenty of seating around the area for outdoor seating.
(Now not so) newly renovated interior looks nice! Tried the mushroom and Brie galette and it was the highlight!
Great selection of bread and pastries as always, coffee also tasted good too~
Keen to try the bread and pies next time!
I ordered two granola bowls which were absolutely delicious! The granola was one of the best I've ever had - the oat to nut to coconut ratio was perfect. The freeze dried berries within the granola mixed perfectly with the chocolate-y flavours from the granola. The lemon curd was absolutely heavenly, in fact I am going to need a recipe or a whole tub to take home haha.
I was quite disappointed with the presentation and portion size of this meal however. There were only like four tiny pieces of kiwifruit, barely any yoghurt and granola. As a cafe with such a high reputation, I was expecting the granola to be presented much better and for there to be more as each bowl was a whopping $16 each. It feels as though the chefs don’t have a singular care in the world in regard to the presentation of anything aside from the toasties or sandwiches.
I was also made to get my own water and cutlery. Not sure if this is the usual at Daily Bread however as this was my first time visiting. I was shocked when sparkling water cam pouring out of the tap. I hope normal water was an option too.
EDIT: Thank you for the response owner! All that info is great to know. Will return next time I am in Auckland. All the best! :)
Had hazelnut croissant first time.
It was ok. I couldnt taste butter flavour.
Would be better if more buttely croissant taste and flavour.
Nice cafe, Busy in morning 8am.
I tried their hazelnut pain au chocolate and it was delicious. They provide free sparkling and still water. Service is good and efficient. My only complaint is that the chair is not comfortable.
Finally it is open for the cafe area.
Daily Bread provides high quality bread and coffees. Suitable for morning tea and lunch with friends.
Popped into Daily Bread twice for breakfast and coffee on my travels. Great spot and would recommend!
Finally found the greatest croissant in CBD!
Some of my friends recommended here and it was totally worth it.
The barista was really talented and friendly too👍
Latte art was too perfect that I didn’t wanna ruin it tho 🤣
I would really recommend dipping the croissant on coffee!
Decently priced relative to other cafes in the CBD. Vanilla Custard Donut is a must have - light fluffy and creamy. Pies are a 8/10 and the Toasties are awesome. Coffee is slightly too acidic for my taste
Just a coffee and a cinnamon bread. Delicious and the atmosphere is awesome.
Update:
Last visit they no longer combo the sausage roll with Al's spicy tomato sauce :( just the ordinary one. Also not the biggest fan of the Bolognese pie. The brie and mushroom galette was delicious though. Would like to try the hazelnut croissant
--------
Sausage roll is a winner! Super light, flaky pastry wrapped around the meat and when you combo it with Al's spicy tomato sauce it's delicious 😁 also tried the cardamom breakfast bun but it didn't really have the cardamom flavour, more like a lemon poppyseed.
Get my coffee here on the go most days and the lady there is always friendly, makes my oat flat white perfectly with a smile despite often being busy. Wish they had a coffee card available!
Edit: Tried the toasties and they're delicious. Only thing was staff don't seat you at a table, you just find a table yourself and go and grab your own menus. Then go back up to pay at the counter. Would be 5 stars if we were welcomed and seated into the cafe properly like other places.
All are very nice. Blueberry croissant ($6) would be nice if it s warm. Morning bun $6
The raspberry cream donut is a must try, coffee is great too!
Finally had the chance to visit this place. The pastries are good, went during lunch time on a weekday. Very busy and crowded.
