Great food selection and lovely staff, food order got forgotten though so that's why I gave it a 3 waited 20 minutes for a breakfast that didn't arrive so we cancelled and settled for cabinet good, they were apologetic, food is good though

Standard cafe food with reasonable prices, they have kitchen and cabinet offerings. I got their pulled pork burger with bbq sauce off the lunch menu, the burger was great and the chips not as crispy as I preferred them to be. Decent waiting time too, considering the amount of patrons there when we visited. I would come back again 😊

Reasonably priced good cafe food. Entertaining and clean toilet. This place has a bit of personality, as opposed to the chain coffee shops. Lots of tables inside.

Lovely food — so many fresh gluten-free options (like this fresh baked cheese scone and bacon/feta/egg cups)! What a treat!

Wow what an awesome Cafe. A very warm welcome, reminded me so much of 'Cheers' and the words of the theme song, especially, "Where everybody knows your name And they're always glad you came". Kai and kāwhe was scrumptious as was the smoothie. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating options, right thru to the back where there was a lounge area. If your in Balclutha or passing thru Mon-Fri pop in, you'll love it.

The best savoury muffin I have ever had. This cafe has something for everyone, from pancakes and waffles, nachos, salads, smoothies....the list goes on. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And brunch. And tea...

Stopped in here for brunch on the big drive to Christchurch. My 3 standouts 1 - The banana bread french toast with extras. A great spin on a classic and I always love a new brunch option to try. 2 - Comfortable interior, plenty of seating. 3 - Great South Otago service. Love small town friendliness and this place had it. Observations: + Regret not buying an cinnamon oyster (a great kiwi classic) and I notice it was a popular choice. I think this decision will keep me awake over the next few nights. + Liked the interior, nice dark wall and wood interior

Quirky cafe with interesting decor and comfortable tables, chairs and sofas. Only had drinks and cakes, but service excellent, quality of cakes and drinks superb. We can see why it is popular.
