Stopped in for early morning breakfast while on our way out of town on Friday. Couldn't quite hear the customer service lady at the drive thru though she was nice enough. Our order was correct and prompt.
On the way to Auckland, McDonald's Bombay Hills is close to the B.P.
I stopped by on the way home from Hamilton and ordered a make-your-own burger, which, I think, is a great way to get what you want in a burger. I also ordered fries and a drink.
My experience was pretty mixed. The staff were friendly and brought my drink to me in advance, which was nice. The burger was great, and the portion of fries was generous. Unfortunately, the chips were bordering on cold.
If you're on your way home, and you need a quick meal, I'd recommend McDonald's, though I'd suggest friends, family, and followers have a look around first before deciding.
Stopped by here on the way to Taupo for a quick bite. I tried one of their new gourmet burgers - the Homestyle which was pretty good. Of course, this will cost you more than the typical fast food burger (at $10.90), and while it's no BurgerFuel, it tasted a lot more luxurious than a standard Big Mac. Note that these also take a bit longer to make (about 10 minutes or so).
Part of the same range is also an option to create your own gourmet burger using the 30 or so ingredients available - with different buns, burgers, sauces and salads. Think exotic new arrivals like chipotle and caramelized onions.
I'm a bit of a food snob, but I have to admit the new range is pretty exquisite for a fast food outlet.
Great maccas always get orders right and food is always hot and fresh always clean with the amount of traffic through out the day. Service is good and people are friendly 👍
Best McDonald's on the motorway back to Auckland. Take your well-deserved rest break here!
Service a bit slow but you can afford to chill out for a while before you drown yourself in the traffic gridlock that is Auckland roads!
Wow. Where do I begin. As a regular @ptchevmcdonals, I was expecting my usual dry, stale, and bland double cheese burger and chicken nuggets. However upon stepping foot in the front door, I knew this experience would be different. The atmosphere was the first thing I noticed. Great tunes, some diplo to set the mood for the rest of my evening. Next, the service. I was absolutely blown out of the park by the hospitality of the staff. The cherry on top of this incredible experience was the delectable, succulent and flavourful kai I was given. 10/10 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was great and the service was great too. The atmosphere was a bit cool, temperature wise, which was compensated by finding a sunny spot near an outside window. In general the restaurant was clean and tidy.
Food and service was too notch for fast food.
So many McDonald's stores are producing wet soggy meat, unmelted cheese and sloppy burger construction.
I can confirm this place delivers good food, consistently for my night driving needs.
Actually got my order CORRECT. And appreciated the free fries the manager gave my baby when she tried crawling behind the counter to eat an old chip on the ground!

This is my go-to McDonald's when on the road. It hits differently, especially when you're going for a long roadie.
Food is freshly prepared and still warm. The staff are always kind and friendly.
Actually really good ... me and my partner have particular orders and they got it perfect. Perfectly made burgers and nice hotnsalted chips..Can't fault it . 👌

Got order wrong, but replaced immediately after we let them know. Replacement food was free, great service to fix up a mistake

Loved the Hot chocolate with Almond Milk and appreciated the friendly staff.
Normally Bombay has workers that seem to be really over it (understandable) - BUT this time, they were fast, really nice and friendly and was even ok about us double checking our order so yay us happy tummies and good vibes
