Alpino Cucina E Vino - Cambridge - Photo album

Alpino is a gorgeous Italian restaurant in Cambridge. This bustling restaurant was full of people and chatter as soon as we walked in, we were greeted at the door, and the staff were nice and friendly. I ordered a Limoncello margarita, but sadly, I never got to try it as it never came, but everyon
We tried the charcuterie board and shared the prosciutto e funghi and it all tasted wonderful! The staff were very nice and attentive. Excellent authentic Italian food!
This is a great restaurant. We enjoyed our lunch very much. Have to say the new layout from my previous visit when this was a bar is far better. Well done and thanks.
Amazing food and service. One of the best Italian restaurant in New Zealand. Will back again
A hidden GEM!!! One of the best Italian food spots in the country. Fantastic welcoming comitee, We felt like we were at home the second we entered. Food was just soooo full of flavour. Staff were awesome, friendly, very very well done. I will be booking my next 5 occasions there for sure. Make sure
Visited with a group of nine and not one bad word was spoken. The male host was so energetic and enthusiastic nothing could have gone wrong. The lady who served us was exceptional. No notebook, just remembered the whole order and gave excellent service. Thank you from the team at Machinery House.
The food is not bad especially the ham platter. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and design, and the waiters are really friendly. The spaghetti bolognese was just a bit weird but besides that it was all good.
Managed to enjoy an impromptu New Year’s Eve dinner on our road trip back home. The friendly Italian (Ricardo we learnt after hearing other patrons leaving wishing him well) found us a table & we were lucky to be served by Laura who provided a great dining experience. The meals didn’t disappoint, c
Food is very good and comparable with what you get in Auckland (which is reflected in the prices) and overseas. We had the ragout which was well done - very rustic style so you could see the pieces of carrots and celery. The pasta (which was fresh) was well made. We had the truffle pizza which was g
Such a great find! The vibe was amazing, the staff are super friendly and the food was absolutely incredible - the pasta was the best we've had at a restaurant in a long time! Would 100% recommend dining here.
I really enjoyed this restaurant... BUT they loose a star! The food was very good and the wine list even better. At the start I talked to the floor manager (probably owner) and flagged that the night was a 50th Birthday dinner for a local. I asked him to arrange anything special he could muster for
Nestled behind an unassuming frontage in Cambridge lies a hidden gem that promises an exceptional dining experience: Alpino Italian. As you step inside, the tasteful decor and elegant atmosphere transport you to Italy, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. The menu boasts a varie
This is the only Italian Restaurant that I have been to in NZ that absolutely matches all the fabulous ones in Victoria, Australia. They were busy but the Italian host was welcoming beyond words. The service we received was absolutely impeccable. We ordered a pizza and it was incredible. I highly re
This place did not disappoint. The service was amazing, food was great. The perfect restaurant for a date night or a catch up with friends. I’m going back next time I’m in town. Do yourself a favour and book this restaurant.
What's not to like? Great atmosphere (busy and noisy, not romantic), great service, great food. Best pizza in ages!
The lamb shoulder was awesome, Charlie, our host was also great, very attentive and had a good idea on the pairing ideas for the veggies.. All-in all a great dinner for my son's 21st birthday. Will definitely go back.
I had heard lots about Alpino from friends, so we were really keen to check it out. We drove from Taupiri to Cambridge for dinner, and the food didn't disappoint! We had the caprese salad and carppacio for starters and the spaghettini and the ravioli for mains with zucchini on the side. The caprese
Great spot if looking for something nice. Looks like an ever changing menu of skilfully crafted dishes. Pizza dough was light and chewy, the kids menu reasonable, and all the mains we tried were tasty and interesting. Wasn’t too much selection in the way of salads, but didn’t seem to need one. Kids
Service and food is consistently excellent. I've been going there regularly for over 5 years now and always have a superb experience!
