Fiddlesticks Restaurant & Bar - Christchurch - Photo album

Everything was so amazing! This is a popular spot (and we now see why!), so on a Friday night, all inside seating was taken by reservation, but they were able to accommodate us with outside tables (they have heaters). The staff was friendly and our 3 dishes were sooo good. The market fish was Wareh
What an absolute cracker of a restaurant!! The food here is beautifully presented and tastes like an absolute treat. This was some of the best food we had during our holiday around NZ. Myself, my wife, and my daughter all demolished our meals and could have easily gone back for seconds - had we not
Took a gamble and ordered the Tempura Fish aka fish and chips. This is hands down the best fish and chips I have ever had. Having traveled around the world and trying many famous fish and chips this is saying something. This is a must eat.
We had the lamb shoulder and duck fat cooked Potato's. Both were really good. The service was also very good however, we were having an early Dinner so the restaurant was quite quiet. I would definitely eat there again.
We arrived at Christchurch in the evening and this was our first meal here. It’s a pleasant surprise. Food and dessert are real good, price is reasonable. We enjoyed our first meal in Christchurch.
One of the most delicious Salmon that I’ve ever had! It tasted wonderful, a bit salty combined with juice… although it was a bit undercooked (I always make Salmon well-cooked), I did enjoy have it. Its Lamb shoulder was also delicious, but I tried only a bit portion :). Very nice and beautiful envir
The food here was amazing, they have a very basic menu in the sense there is a lamb, beef, chicken, vege, pasta and fish option but they do all of their food so well. Everything was absolutely delicious and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Went to Fiddlesticks for dinner and it was a hit. The waitress was on point and really attentive. The food didn't just look good; it tasted amazing too. We went for the chef's prime cut for sharing. Though it came out rare instead of our usual medium-rare—our mistake for not specifying—it was still
It was suddenly a chilly windy day and lovely staff closed the roof in the inside yet open roof area and turned heaters on to make us comfy. Served us delicious interesting bits such as crispy cauliflower in peanut dressing and delicious wine. Really, all you need on suddenly crisp spring Tuesday af
I went here for lunch with my family and everything was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly and the environment was very relaxing. I got the risotto and it was creamy, hearty, and delicious. Other members of my party got the chicken salad (very tender and juicy) and the cured salmon. Overa
We went for the first time, and what a surprise... The flavours were just amazing. The lamb shoulder, Akaroa salmon, kids tempura fish so good that we ordered 3 portions as we couldn’t stop eating. All in all, a lovely restaurant, with delicious food and great service well worth a visit. Well done
Nice atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff. Food nicely done.
If you have the budget, this is an absolute recommend for me when you’re going to the botanical gardens. It’s near the garden and the tram actually stops right in front of it. I went for breakfast and their breakfast menu is just *chef’s kiss* I would recommend booking if you’re going for lunch or d
First timer for a quick meal before a show and I was pleasantly surprised … service was efficient, speedy and food superb albeit one item. The generous portion sizes for starters ie polenta fries puts many others to shame. The duck liver pâté’ was divine. The let down was the pork bites, smaller than
We were actually booked at another restaurant we went there and they were closed so we rang fiddlesticks and they said come on down we have a table for you the food was absolutely amazing the lamb shoulder I didn't even need a knife the cocktails were also on point and the caramel dessert is a must
Food was great, really enjoyed! Recommend book first as we had to wait for the waitress to find an available table for us even it wasn't full.
Have had dinner here several times, first time for brunch. Great service, great food. The pancakes would have to be the best I have sampled. Nicely presented and with the perfect ice-cream accompliment, including a finishing touch that sets it above the rest.
We chanced upon this restaurant as it was near our hotel. The pork belly was exquisite....the skin was nice and crispy ( YUMMM) and was well seasoned. My wife had the scallops and it was also very well done. Cheers to our last meal in Christchurch.
Very yummy food with spectacular presentation. Good service and reasonable prices for the quality of the food.
