We had breakfast and dinner here. Most of the staff are friendly and efficient. The food is good. I would eat here if I was in the area again.
Great spot to relax with a drink, watch some sport in the bar - or move through to the dining room and enjoy a sensational meal. Excellent chef's, vibrant and down to earth service people who remember your name. The bar staff are a great crew and never to busy for a chat. I do hope they bring the locals card back, or maybe a happy hour though, would add to the buzz. Easily my favorite spot after a hard day at the office.

My dad and I both agree best seafood chowder of every. Absolutely fantastic. Ask for an extra piece of grilled bread. It goes perfect with the creamy chowder, filled with large hunks of seafood.
I only had the breakfast and it was delicious. I recommend any omelette and the hash browns. The omelettes are big. Service was wonderful
This is a very nice restaurant where the public can also enjoy a meal. It caters a great hot or cold breakfast, lunches and evening meals. Even if you are not staying in the hotel feel free to book and have a nice evening meal in a nice restaurant. The food is always very good and the staff are friendly, helpful and experienced. Do note it pays to book.
Awesome 3pm to 5pm live music on Sunday and great snack food.
Yeah I would highly recommend this place. Really enjoyed the fish of the day dish and apparently there duck was dam fine too. Good setting, very decent service.

And the food as vegetarian it was unbelievable. Didn't know vegetables could taste that good, the vegetarian gnocchi was delightful. And all the rest of the food.

Lovely staff, very attentive. The food is reasonably priced in relation to the portions. The beef burger, the Caesar salad and the linguine were HUGE and delicious.

I went with two other people last night to Paterson restaurant. The service was great. We had a lovely waitress who was helpful and efficient. They didn’t have our booking so they gave us a free drink. The food was beautifully presented and good quality. Over all it was a great evening. We certainly would book to go there again. Shirley NZ

Very nice food. I had the gnocchi and my husband the rib-eye with fat duck potatoes and both were beautiful. Very tasty. Service was efficient and fast. Very good. We recommend.
Food was of a very high quality. It is at top end of price range. Excellent service from staff. A bar person was unsure of a waiter order and came out immediately out for clarification with that person with other recommendations which were very helpful. Highly recommended
We enjoyed a lovely meal of battered gurnard and curried fish. Great staff great food.
The service is great, the place is beautiful and it was very festive. But, they mad a mistake with our order which gave us an uncomfortable feeling. They fixed it right away but it shouldn't have happened. Also everything there takes time. Other than that it's a good place for your Dinner.
Warm, cozy, pleasant atmosphere, nice music, friendly, professional service; my butter chicken dish was very delicious, well presented and a good value (thank you, BC!). First time here on biz trip up from Dunedin, will be back!
