Excellent Thai restaurant nestled in a suburban mall. Reasonably priced food and choose your spice level options.
The food was amazing. Great service too. Also was great that there was a free shuttle arrangement between the motel we stayed and the restaurant: they picked us up and dropped us back at the motel. Very very friendly people. Would definitely go back and would recommend.

Delicious, generous servings. Prompt, efficient and friendly delivery service. Recommend the chicken stay, (lashings of sauce), pad Thai pork and ginger beef.
Excellent value for money. The taste is great. The restaurant has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Background noise is not a problem, it is a good place for group discussion. Very friendly service. The option to bring your own drinks is also great!
Great atmosphere. Really nice staff. The big fish tank is a good attraction for the kids. Unfortunately my chicken pad se ew was a little bit dry. However, I would return. :)
Great place for a group or just a couple, had blue cod and was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meal , service was quick and very good, would definitely return

I love this place its been consistently amazing for the last ~10 ? Years. Tried many other Thai food places in Christchurch to much disappointment after Abalone thai sets the bar really high. Looking forward to many more amazing meals.Food always fresh and delicious and incredible service. The soups
