Friendly, remarkably helpful staff.  Somewhat dingy interior.  Mostly high tables and booths, some low tables with chairs.  Great $15 lunch menu, plus full menu.  Irish music playing, mostly top 40 stuff.  Pleasant atmosphere, not noisy at least when we were there for lunch.  Parking (metered) right outside.

Between us we had the fish & chips, Cajun chicken open sandwich, nachos, side salad, chocolate brownie and creme brulee.  The portions were generous, the salad inviting.  The only miss was the crème brulee, which apparently tasted like caramel dairy food--and surely putting the ice cream on top isn't good for the crunch?
Will return.  Plenty more items on the menu I want to try!

Excellent food, friendly staff and great live music.
Awesome atmosphere, and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Huge venue, and a decent sized dance floor if you like a bit of a ho down.

Love the sounds, food was good for what u pay. Service suffered from staff not turning up, but a great afternoon and I will be back. Unfortunately being a local equals better service, shame as we left with a lot of money in our pocket.

That night we had a few drinks in the Casino. As we were strolling along we saw this rustic place. It not that fancy but quite intriguing little place. So we went in we were served with nice big wooden sofa by the main entrance. We love the spicy chicken wings followed with Lamb Shank to shared. We loved the foods and services we will definitely returned for another visit 👏🍴👍

Vibrant Irish pub well located in the city. Happy hour 5-6. Saw a fun Irish band. No cover. We did not eat here, but locals told us the roast is very good. The portions looked hearty. Staff was awesome and provided suggestions. They pour a nice pint of Guinness and the Kilkenny was delicious as well. A great selection of beers on tap.

No trip away is complete without an Irish bar, The Bog is exactly what you would expect, warm, friendly and Irish, if you're after a large meal then this place ticks that box. Live music which gave a great atmosphere and was never too busy.

Always great Guinness :-) The food and service weren't as good as they have been historically though, unfortunately. The staff used to bend over backwards to give great service, but not so much any more, they seemed quite nonchalant. We'll always stop by for a beer, maybe not so much food.

Going to the bog was a fairly spontaneous decision made because we wanted to try something new and it was a great decision! We were made welcome and shown to our table promptly. They had a great atmosphere, it had a very fun, vibrant pub feel. The music was good and upbeat but a little on the loud side so don't go in expecting a quiet dining experience. They have a beautiful interior and it was very clean and had a very warm welcoming vibe. The bathrooms were also very nice and clean. The staff were some of the best I have had the pleasure of being served by. They were pleasant and polite, they were very quick to remove used dishes and always nearby to assist us with any queries or requests and knew all of the specials without hesitation. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and was reasonably priced. We ordered Garlic bread which had some of the creamiest, lightest and most amazing garlic butter I have ever had. The chicken noodle soup was cooked to perfection with all of the veggies being just right and the broth was amazing, i could have just had the soup broth for my meal and would still have been very satisfied. I ordered the chicken schnitzel which was moist and delicious, my only issue with it was there not being enough mushroom sauce but that's mostly because it was so delicious. My partner ordered one of the steak dishes which was a fair bit tougher than it should have been but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the meal. Overall a fantastic experience and we will have to go back again because i feel like i need to try everything on the menu.

Good place for beers! It's a typical Irish pub, they have the Guiness and the Kilkenny on tap. Lots of ex-pats stop in so you can find some interesting people here. Being Canadian I always see other Canadians which makes me feel at home.

Top spot for a beer. Turned up on Monday night fresh off the plane and received excellent bar service in a warm and friendly environment. Irish duo were playing, which added to the great atmosphere.

That was the very first experience of ours at "The Bog". And we do believe, that not the last one as well. Mostly its menu is about the fast food there. The food was not "over the moon", but not bad at the same time. (Didn't mean to hurt their Chef at all, but we've got plenty of splendid cuisine experiences to compare to. 😉🙂) But don't forget, it's an Irish pub (and not a "Michelin" restaurant), where u'd better drink some good beverage and don't eat too much... ;) 😉😂 Well, to be short: Quite acceptable food 🍲, very nice and kind staff and absolutely fantastic atmosphere with some live music (not sure if occasionally or on the regular basis) inside. Can recommend, no doubt... 👍😁

We only stopped by for a drink as the menu was quite restrictive. Also they had a live singer on at the time and it wasn't conducive to dining out, as it was quite loud.

Great food. Awesome main with beer for 30 bucks. Irish band playing on stage were soo good and there were about 10 of them. Most importantly, the music wasn’t too loud like most pubs I’ve been to. Will be back. Prob tomorrow

A go-to spot since they opened. It's a regular hangout, especially on weekends with friends for some beer vibes. If you're on the hunt for an Irish pub, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Great service and everyone was really friendly, the food is amazing definitely recommend!!! We went on a busy night with the rugby on, it didn't effect the speed of the food service and the staff took great care of us. I highly recommend this place!
