Incredible food, the salmon sushi rolls are addictive one plate was not enough! All the food is fresh and incredible. Presentation is excellent! Will be back!

Very friendly and attentive staff. The bento boxes were great - there was a bit of everything to try on and the portions were more than enough. Loved especially the grilled fish, tempura and pickled aubergine.
We went for lunch and it was truly a gem. Staff and chef are Japanese and the flavors of the dishes were true and authentic. Also appreciate how clean the restaurant and bathrooms are. Definitely a must go! ⭐️
Tomi was a very decent find. We were on holiday in Christchurch and decided to try this place and it did not disappoint.
Plenty of parking out back which is always pleasant, the ambiance inside is actually very Japan like, feels authentic.

This is such a great local gem. Have visited twice recently, once for lunch and again for dinner. Everything we have tried here is delicious, especially the sashimi platter and takoyaki balls. Lovely service and relaxed atmosphere.
Tonight was my best ever experience at Tomi. Went with my sister (cause we love the place) and we both agreed it was the best food we've ever had there. The sashimi was out of this world, had mackerel & trumpeter which was a first. Also the carpaccio blew my mind.

Lunch was good. We ordered the lunch set came with rice, miso soup, salad and pickles. Really enjoyed the food except the pickles.
Went back for lunch. We tried donburi rice bowl and octopus balls. They were delicious.
