The food are good, I ate the beef hamburguer ,was really good, the meat was juicy. I ate pasta too and it was good. They have Guinness, so the beer is excellent. The place is big and comfortable.
I had the fish and chips and the batter melted in your mouth it was perfect, gf had the steak and was very happy nice and medium rare and chips were perfect

Awesome meal on Saturday night. It was very busy but the staff did an awesome job and went out of their way to help and were lovely and friendly. I was impressed that they were happy for me to take a birthday cake, light the candles and bring it out at the right time with a knife, plates and cutlery

My favorite place to eat in CHCH. The pork belly is beautiful and makes you just want more, it was just so tender and juicy. It just went great with the potato. The drinks menu is good too.

Brought a group of 22 for work xmas lunch - Simon was great to deal with, the front of house team ran like a well oiled machine, simple but well presented, hearty feed, great value for money for a $35 set menu. We had a few dif dietary requirements in the group too and they were all happy.
WE went for breakfast, on a Friday, the place was very quiet only one other couple in the restaurant part where we were.
I had the Salmon bagel and my husband had bacon eggs benne.

Recommend booking if you're wanting dinner. Waiting time was a bit long but the customer service was great and had informed us on the wait. Great environment and yummy food.

Sorry guys accidentally gave yous a 3 star rating staff were exceptionally awesome didn't have to wait to be served either very fast service nice relaxing setting, also some random guy came on the premises bothering us for a lighter and staff were very quick to Intervene and asked him to leave drink
