The sushi is so good. Fairly priced. The Katsudon was a little soggy but the flavour was well-balanced. Overall a very nice restaurant, good quality environment, seats, etc, good layout, food is solid. Definitely one of the better Japanese restaurants out there.
Cosy place, with superb food and excellent service. We had the edamame (which was ok), sashimi plate which was loaded with top quality red tuna and salmon, vegetarian and seafood okonomiaki (both were very good, vegetarian was better), chicken and coriander gioza which was so good we ordered another

Absolutely amazing Japanese food, so fresh and delicious. The Tempura is some of the best I’ve ever had in Christchurch and everything is priced very reasonably. Will definitely be coming back to try more.
Amazing food, amazing services. We order salmon sushi, salmon teriyaki, and unagi donburi. They are all amazing, especially the unagi donburi which’s the Mori-Mori Recommendation. This place is a hiden gem just 5 minutes outside Christchurch CBD. Highly recommended.
MoriMori is the best restaurant in Christchurch. We always come here for a special occasion. Every mouthful you will be saying 'mmmmm'. A wee gem in the heart of Sydenham. The most hospitable staff and delicious food with an authentic cosy atmosphere. If you like seafood, the sashimi don is DELISH!
Took both daughters 15 & 13 and they loved it. I got both of them to try the Unangi not telling them what it was and they liked it say's it all.
I asked them a couple of days later where to take a date and they said "that restaurant you took us to".
If you enjoy Japanese quisine I definitely recommend Morimori. Food is tasty, delicious, reasonably fast service, nicely prepared n presented. It is slightly out of Central City Christchurch so is quite often not busy. A small restaurant but food quality, taste n presentation is a highlight for me.
