Travelling with my parents who are vegetarian.. we ordered the vegetarian red curry and drunken noodles. The food was fantastic and exactly what we needed after a long day of travel and sightseeing.

The curry (can be shared by two persons) is served with rice (enough for one person) and was full of flavour and spicy enough to make mum and dad happy. The quantity of vegetables in both the curry and noodles was very generous and fresh.

The location is also great as it is right outside the tram stop if you are doing the hop-on hop-off tram.

A cosy little family run restaurant in one of Christchurch's iconic streets. Friendly prompt service, fresh authentic food, fabulous beef salad. Would happily return.

I honestly don't understand how the others experience here was average but came with a group last night and it was amazing. The entrée and mains was delicious. The wine pairing was even better.

We ordered 3 various entree to start us up. Crispy Prawn Sticks, Mix Platter, and Satay Chicken? and paired with a bottle. Perfect! It was so delicious that we literally gobbled it too fast. Out came the mains and even better! I had the Chicken Pad Thai and the other 3 ordered different ones too. Not exaggerating but their Pad Thai was better than the Thai restaurants I have been in. Had a wee cheeky try out of one of the guy's meal - Tom Yum Goong, and damn, that too was tasty!

Good food. Great night. Good company.

Good for Christchurch I'm guessing? I get the feeling authentic Asian food can be hard to find here.

My wife had the vegetarian pad Thai. It was quite nice but had too much tamarind paste so it tasted a little jammy.

My green curry with chicken was really nice. The serving of rice was a little mean though.

On the higher end of reasonable price-wise.

Weird not to get chop sticks with a noodle dish. Is this an NZ thing?

Small and cosy place with great food with right level of heat for my taste. Servings are quite generous and if you want to take leftovers home there is an additional $1 charge. Staff is friendly and discreet. Great place for great meal.

Duck red curry 10/10, tofu red curry 9.5/10 (duck red curry has really fantastic flavour and tofu red went down 0.5% after trying duck one). Really cosy little place and the food is excellent. Will be coming back.

I'd rate this one of the top Thai meals I've had for a long time. tiny place, intimate to a high degree, one fabulous woman serving tonight. she must have been crazy busy but we never felt rushed or stressed. as for the food... the main reason for the visit after all...6 people all deeply satisfied. a red curry tofu, a tofu pad thai, a red beef curry, two Massaman lamb shanks, and Chiang Mai pork. each and every one delightful and individual. beautifully presented, well priced, but above all Damn Fine Food. thank you.

Just came in here for lunch. Lovely woman behind the counter who was absolutely hilarious. Ordered the Pad Thai and gosh I wasn't disappointed. Couldn't find better Thai food even if you were on the streets of Bangkok. Absolutely fabulous experience, would love to go back again :)

A small cosy eatery with an upstairs area to dine in as well. We decided to eat there based on previous reviews and the food was outstanding. The lamb shank massaman and cheeky beef curry was truly excellent. This restaurant is perfect for small groups of 2-6 people.

Food was wonderfully cooked and very rich in flavours. The produce used were fresh and top notch. The building itself is a bit small for big groups. The style of cooking and presentation is unique from my typical Thai restaurant but it was worth a try. The price is a bit out of my league. The portion is also reasonable and I certainly would have not expect less for the price. Also the street it resides is just a cool place to hang out in the middle of Christchurch city. Service was good as well.

The Best Thai in Christchurch if not NZ. I love the Green Chicken Curry and the combination Pad Thai - lots of Prawn, Beef and Chicken - very Thai authentic and a great price. AAA+ Best
