This place never disappoints me. They serve a great selection of your favourite drops. Food quality and portion size are more than just the average pub-style food. Ribs were delicious but meat could he a bit more tender this time. Burrito tasted fantastic. Crunchy wedges with well dressed coleslaw.
Wonderful place for a meal. Highly recommended to all. Staff friendly and always ready to help or get you anything.
Returned to Lone Star for the first time in many years for a weekday lunch. I had the redneck ribs, served as six ribs with coleslaw and buffalo potatoes. The coleslaw and potatoes were excellent, ribs were decent but a bit dry/overcooked. To drink I had an L&P and a super-cold Steinlager. Couldn't
Always a great meal to be had here. The mains are classics. We had the ribs and lasso of hog. Generous portions, as you expect. For dessert a berry chocolate cheesecake and creme brulee nicely finished off the evening. Service was attentive and the restaurant mostly full. Bookings recommended.
Great delicious food. Nice spacious environment with pleasant attentive staff. $6 for a 12oz soft drink is a bit over the top, when $3-4 maximum would be sufficient. Also, $15 for a garlic loaf is ridiculous. There is no need to jack up prices when times are tough for most people.
Great spot, place was full, yet staff were keeping on top of everything and extremely friendly. Food was brought out in a timely manner, and was cooked perfectly.
Had a lovely dinner with my bestie, food was on point, ribs were excellent, simply fall off the bone tender. Our waitress Rylee was attentive, enthusiastic and lovely. Moro cheesecake was to die for! Highly recommend.
Honestly, the food was better than other Lone Stars I have been to and I love dining at Lone Star. Manchester Lone Star chef got it right with my steak, melt in the mouth medium rear. Thank you 😁. Staff were eagar to please and attentive. I hope you all flock to this restaurant and support them duri
Been here plenty of times, great customer service, food is fairly priced, location is great. I tried one of the burgers today and it was SERIOUSLY GOOD. Ingredients were of very high quality, I'm always a stickler for pickles on a burger and I am very pleased with how satisfyingly crunchy and tangy
Atmosphere was good, except for the SUPER LOUD BLENDER. Waiters were amazing, especially the person with the blonde hair. They were lovely.
Great food and atmosphere. My wife and I went here for my birthday. We usually go to the one in Riccarton, but we're in the city centre and thought to try this one. The food was great and the restaurant was nice. I don't think we have ever had a bad experience at a Lone star restaurant. I would defi
Had a pretty good dinner here tonight. Food was fantastic, and compliments to the kitchen. A bit quiet on the waitressing front, and the table we were given felt a bit remote from others. Otherwise the experience was alright, we enjoyed the western theme and decor, maybe could lean into that more.
🀩Amazing! We came here 3 years ago! After all, Lone Star is the best!πŸ₯–πŸ₯—πŸ€πŸ–πŸ» πŸ˜‹So delicious!
The waitress and cashier were very friendly. The salmon was a wonderful complete meal. The cocktail looks standard but nicely strong
Usually go for dinner but went for lunch for the first time. Food there has always been fantastic, no complaints. Couldn't speak more highly of how quickly our orders appeared either. Very obvious they're understaffed for a Sunday lunch unless they typically expect less diners, as there seemed to
