Always friendly service, a really good mocha (with panda face art), and the talented chef prepares a good variety of tasty and generously portioned food. Had the brioche French toast twice, loved it, and friends really enjoyed their big country breakfasts, seafood chowder, and eggs. Cosy, welcoming interior and good amenities. If I were a local, I’d be a regular.
Have been to station one several times now. It's a great wee cafe with lovely friendly staff, quick service and tasty food. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend the big breakfast!
Good for a quiet chat. Place was empty. Bigger inside than it looks. Coffe 3/5 but I'm really fussy!! I'd go back for a quiet spot to chat or read.
I read from somewhere that this cafe won the "Cafe of the year" award.
I was not disappointed, it's a really nice cafe shop with very good quality coffee and service.
If more kinds of cabinet food can be provided to increase their variety, the shop can be much better.
We've been this cafe this weekend , it is a quite busy cafe and very modern ,we were quite relax in here and ordered few coffees and breakfast , after a short time , our breakfast came , it is really yummy.

Always good like my food when I eat here- the club sandwiches are awesome and the GF corn fritters are exceptionally tasty and filling- only criticism is a lack of low calorie cola beverage as it's my lunch time ritual, yet it won't stop me going back.
Arrived unannounced for Saturday morning brunch and were soon enjoying two wonderful, fresh, beautifully presented meals. Prices good, service great, pleasant decor. Will definitely be heading back that way.
Booked, offered menu and told which table to go to. Had no instruction once we had made our choice what to do so after waiting a further 10 minutes went up to order. It should have been made clear at the beginning if we were to come back to order suggest that they do to avoid confusion.
Great meal both ordered seafood platter very pleased with. Variation of seafood excellent and chips. Dish had tartar sauce and other side of dish nothing perhaps tomato sauce had been omitted not sure.
Food excellent however service needs to be worked on.
Discovered this gem a few weeks ago and have since been there at different times of the day and on different days. The service has never differed from being friendly, attentive, accomodating and most of all consistent. Very good coffee and extremely well priced food. Good range of cabinet food (including sandwiches with 'real' fillings) priced like the old days (read here more choice than a meagrely-filled $9.50 panini which seems to be the norm at many cafes)makes it difficult to pass up in favour of the menu. But in saying that breakfast pancakes are a triumph.
Good variety of seating including outdoor area. Looking forward to extended opening hours in the future especially Thurs/Fri nights.
Introduced by a friend and went there on a Sunday, the experience was just so enjoyable!! The décor is just fabulous! Service was just outstanding! I ordered steak sandwich and my husband had big breakfast and my kids had French toast and pancake. I just would like to say the food as well as the coffee were just amazing and delicious!

I ordered smashed avocado with egg. It was beautifully presented and tasted great. I also really enjoyed my coffee.

Staff is very friendly. Pretty warm and cosy inside. We ordered a seafood chowder and a beef burger. The burger is pretty big and the pattie is very juicy. Seafood chowder is very creamy and loaded with seafood. Btw the garlic bread served with chowder is not too bad. Will definitely come back again.
Delicious breakfast. We ordered wedges, poached eggs, pancakes. They made it perfect. I really wish I captured what I ordered but couldn’t wait to eat. Lovely people

Wow! Visiting from Timaru and this place was near enough to where we were staying. Breakfast (Eggs Benedict with Salmon, of course!) was beautifully presented and exactly the right temperature. Admittedly I had a little bit of food envy, even so, as my daughter ordered pancakes. Lovely coffee and a comfortable, quiet environment in this busy little area.
This is one of the few new places I've tried recently where I will choose to visit again!
What a great little find, walked in from the cold rainy Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by the size of this cafe, had arrived for lunch with a friend and was quickly greeted and offered a menu, food was fresh and delicious with good sized portions, will be reccomending and defiantly visiting again

Just wanted to spend a few minutes giving them a review because they are short staffed like most hospitality at the moment, buy the one lady there the other day serviced a busy Coffee shop really well and all by herself without any compromise to the service or products.
Not sure how she did it. Amazing. Visit if you can for sure
