Was mine and my partners 4 year anniversary and surprised me with this place. Excellent customer service. New cocktail this week was amazing. Hash brown was bit flakey however everything else was amazing. Dumplings were amazing especially. Stomachs definitely smiling and lovely scenery too. Smoking area should be put somewhere else tho as had to move because the smell was too strong and I wanted to enjoy our meals. However was great overall I still highly recommend this place. We'll done waitress and chefs.

I visited this place twice within a month for 2 different reasons and events - and had a good experience both times.
The first visit was for the 10-year anniversary function for my Rotary club. I had the finger food which was ordered for the whole event; and a drink.
The second visit was when my Rotary club hosted a quiz night (fundraiser) at this place. I had a vegetarian pizza and a drink. The pizza was somewhat pricier than normal but very well prepared and delicious!
The staff is great. The owner doubled up as the quizmaster! There is plenty of parking. The toilets are in excellent condition.
Said they could make a long island iced tea and then it took about 20 mins and came served in a martini glass. I ordered fried dumplings and received steamed. But they were nice.
Mushroom soup was awesome. The atmosphere was great. Service was also excellent. One of their staff member saw us coming in and opened our door for us. It was much appreciated. Coffee was great too. Well done.
We enjoyed some food and drinks at Sugarhorse on a Friday night. After our dining experience we would recommend this as an easy-going casual spot to go with coworkers for a drink or to meet up with friends and share some pizza. We enjoyed the chicken nibbles and pizza, the steak open sandwich was just ok. The staff and ambience were welcoming and it’s super easy to park as it’s part of a complex with a parking lot right out front.
We had our daughter, Nicoles, 21st, on Saturday 20 February, 2021, and I cant speak highly enough, of the friendly, efficient staff, as well as the owner, Pete. They all went out of their way to make this event flawless, and very memorable. Communication re Nicoles venue, from Pete, the owner, was incredible. We were keep in the loop all the way, discussing all options, timing of food to appear, music available, the cakes appearance, etc, etc.
As for the food, it was impeccable, in quality, quantity, fresheness, and taste. The grazing table was repleneshed without delay, and the range of drinks available was very broard, and of great quality. We highly reccomend this restaurant for general dining out, or for any prospective venues that you might have pending for consideration. Thank you. Cliff, Debbie and Nicole

I was here for a quiz night and could not fault the staff or food on offer. Staff were attentive and the food was hot and fresh. Will definitely be back!
The all day breakfast hit the spot, good quality ingredients. The kids meals went down a treat and presented well. Fast friendly service. Glad we gave the place a go looking forward to going back.

Excellent service and surrounds, a hidden gem. Very good meals. The ribeye itself was cooked to perfection, however being in the height of summer I would have thought the term seasonal greens would have been more than radish sprouts alone as an accompaniment.

Got Uber eats from here for breakfast, hung over as hell, bacon and eggs much appreciated. 10 / 10 for cooked breakfast without leaving the house. Ample bacon and perfectly cooked, ditto for the eggs, came with delicious bread and butter.
Have been here several times for brunch or dinner - highly recommend it. It has both great food and great atmosphere. It’s a bit tucked away so can be easy to miss, but always lovely once we’re here.

We dined in midday with a pram and puppy. Very nice and welcoming atmosphere. As our first time here we were worried it maybe abit loud but we really enjoyed everything about it. Our waitress was wonderful, all of our food was delicious and we agreed the cost was low for the quality of food we received. Taste, serving size, low wait times.. It was all fantastic.

I have been here before but this was the first visit in a while. The server was short-staffed but handled it like a pro. She was lovely, kept us updated, and kept her cool in a busy lunch rush situation. Fantastic service.
