We got the Seafood / Chicken / Beef Teppanyaki set and it was definitely worth it! We got quite a few different entrees to try, I can’t remember all of them but there was some marinated fish and fried chicken. They give you a few different varieties of seafood too. We also got an extra side of pumpkin to try and everything was so good, I can’t choose what my favourite part was. Even the dessert was quite good.
It was nice to watch the food being cooked in front of us - the most entertaining one was definitely the beef since it just erupts with fire. The chef noticed that we wanted to take a photo and kindly asked if we wanted him to do it again. The other staff were also kind and brought over food or took away our plates very fast.
We also tried the sashimi and sukiyaki last time and it was really good. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant!
Perfect place for family dinner! I celebrated my 22nd birthday with mom and dad here. The food and service are first class! We ordered beef, chicken and seafood set menus and had a memorable evening! The staff are so nice and friendly.
Very nice deco and friendly staff. The fresh Akaroa salmon sashimi is really good. Personally I prefer less salty soy sauce but other than that it is a good experience.
Was my first time experiencing the food at this restaurant and I definitely walked out a very happy customer 😊

It is great Japanese restaurant, I had set menu2 which everything is great except beef seems mid instead of mid raw, but all rest very good. I will still give five star as waiter may listened wrong. Good experience in Christchurch!
Probably the most authentic Japanese restuarant in Christchurch though slightly chilly inside and not quite generous enough with sauce. Teppanyaki table with capacity for 26 people is quite the feature particularly when the flame goes up! Seems to be popular with families too and has high chairs. Would recommend for a fancy night out.
A really lovely dinning experience, from the every so helpful and lovely staff to the very relaxing atmosphere, the food is always something to get excited about as it never disappoints on the many occasions we visit! ❤

This is a nice restaurant to go to eat. The food is delicious and is served in front of you if you choose the tepenyaki menu. My o lt complaint is that the chefs didn't put on as much of a performance as other tepenyaki restaurants I've been to.

The first Teppan-Yaki I had and was not disappointed. Great ambience and food.
Great atmosphere. The food is quite traditional Japanese food but very delicious. The set menus are something that you need to try at least once as they’re extremely filling and worth the experience.
Would definitely recommend the Teppan-Yaki for a birthday or special occasion
Although visiting this restaurant was enjoyable, it wasn't unique and thus I probably won't go back soon. The service is good, the food is ok (but not necessarily exciting), and the atmosphere a bit stiff.
