Commi - Christchurch - Photo album

First time dining here, other members of our party had been here before. Enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and quirky surroundings. Only little negative was that not everyone is comfortable sitting on a stool, we were all over 50, so a little bit of comfort is appreciated. Left with a full happy tummy.
Serving is quite generous. I ordered one of their recommended dishes which is chicken pad thai. Not a miss, love the peanut flavor and the well-balanced sweetness. The place makes you feel you're on an urban street because of its intended style. Love it
After the closure of Buddha Stix in Riccarton it’s our favourite place for Asian fusion/ Vietnamese meal. Nice interior made in style as the street of Hanoi, great food selection including several vegan options. Sunbathe tofu is the best, but hot plate Buddha’s Feast is not too shabby either. Nice a

Booked in for 7.30 (an hour and a half before closing) service was perfect, so quick. Sister is coeliac so extra care does need to be taken. It was mentioned to our server, who didn't seem sure at first, but they confirmed by asking "so that's gluten free?", which is great! She had no issues with th
Food came out very quickly, it was delicious. Just the right amount of spice, plenty of meat and vegetables. We went on a Wednesday evening. We were the only 2 people there. Don't know why, we will be going back. Best Asian food that I've had in a long long time.
