Just grabbed a coffee on our way from hotel to explore Christchurch, and to be honest I stopped here due to their name. Coffee was great, a little pricey. Cakes looked great but didn't grab anything.
Food and coffee here was exceptional. I ordered a Big Breaky and my girlfriend got the Veg Out and we were blown away by the quality of the food. So many different, unique flavours and it was obvious the amount of care the chefs took over making our meals. Will recommend to others and definitely plan on coming back.
We had a really good breakfast here, two couples and a baby. They had a high chair available and we got a table without booking (very lucky, as they were quite busy before 10am). We ordered the bacon bacon (pictured) and eggs bene. Small portions but suited me perfectly. Great coffee too. Nice bright and warm cafe, will definitely be back.

Foods are good ... Kitchen staffs are great. Atmosphere can be improve. The meal is on the high side.

Had to wait a little while for the food but, after finishing my brunch, I couldn't care less - was truly outstanding! Blown away. Good service overall, but imo feel a few extra smiles could have gone a long way - makes a warmer environment 4/5 :)
My wife and I love this place - great breakfast menu and the cabinet food is delicious with a really good selection. Their coffee is top notch! This is our new go to place when we're in the city area.
Fantastic meal all the dishes we had delicious. Staff were amazing. Great Central location plenty of free parking close by. Will definately go back and highly recommend. Great Cocktails too.
Sad to see this place so deserted on a busy brunch Saturday morning. Came in to escape the rain and grab a coffee, stayed for the excellent service and absolutely stunning food, will be back for another brunch, highly suggest checking tap n grid out.
