This was delicious. A lot of Indian places I have tried in CHCH are all watered down and bland. The food from Royal Tandoor had a fantastic consistency. Wow this place is amazing. Lamb was tender - properly braised and juicy. Great spices and good value for money. Naan fresh and flavourful. Support this local gem.
Mini combo- I tried mino combo today, meal was delicious and cost $15. Will try again. (My meal was Kadai paneer as curry, 1 naan, rice and drink can).
Best Indian naan breads in town, good value and bigger in size as well. They made their cheese and garlic or any other naan generously. I was so impressed with their food. I haven’t tried curries yet but will try soon. They are cheap as well. Highly recommended. Thanks Royal Tandoor for that delicio
Without a shadow of a doubt the best tandoori chicken in town, at a price that would make you embarassed to ever go to KFC again. Seriously guys keep up the good work and ill never buy from any other curry place in town. I live across town and would still order from Shirley Royal Tandoor every time.
This place is absolutely amazing food is always hot and cooked perfectly. Amazingly seasoned and not overly sweet like other places . Love this place couldn’t recommend it enough!!
I've had a few of the dishes here and all have been pretty good. The lamb Madras stands out as one of the best curries I've ever had. Excellent naan bread and the entrees are good as well. Highly recommended.

I ordered butter chicken via Uber eats, arrived super fast. Tastes like authentic India food, it’s creamy and buttery, naan is perfection and Raita is delicious , 0 complaints such good value for the price , probably the best place to buy Indian in Chch, and I’ve tried many restaurants
