The young cheeky scallywag on the counter was really good with banter.... he was good at finding out what was left to bring out... i was there at 2.30pm. I liked the banter it passed the time while i waited for my pie. Pie was hot pastry good and had good portion of meat. Flat white was good and mad
A nice-enough cafe. Extra star for the coffee in a MUG, not a ponsy cup. Food was pricey. I don't know what my (deconstructed) bagel cost, however its one of the few times I have sat in a cafe and thought that, even with my amateurish skills, I could have made a meal just as good at home. Actually,
Love quiet place. It would be nice to have menus that you can pick up. Trying to read the ones stuck on the counter when you have a que behind you is difficult.
Great cafe! Friendly server was so helpful with allergy-friendly food for my daughter as nearly all of the cabinet food is baked fresh in-house. Barista with the red hair clearly knows what she was doing - coffee was delicious ! :)
A great place for lunch, clean and tidy and friendly staff. The major stand out for me was the Bacon Butty and the great selection of food.
A classic kiwi cafe with cabinet food and delicious cooked food. Regularly come here and it's always nice. Food comes quickly and is beautifully cooked.
Had the allday breakfast and was smashing 2 beautiful poached egs mushrooms 2 breakfast sausages streaky bacon 🥓 😋
And 2 peace of sourdough toast and hot to with butter

Is a bit dated inside. But staff are lovely. Food is nice.
I went in just after 1pm & it was pretty busy, but still cabinet food left. Reasonably priced - I had a pie, rocky road slice & a beautifully made large flat white. The service was fast & friendly. Thank you :)
We didn't get food just a coffee which was simply the best. Next time we're in the city we'll come back for sure 👍
