What a lovely quaint place! There is a strong sense of community here and it is quite possible to make friends here if you come enough. It has a village feel. I thought of this Bible passage which I thought was quite fitting for this cafe:

What a little gem, son treated me to a coffee there this morning, staff where friendly, coffee was spot on and the view - just stunning.. this will become one of those places to take friends for a relaxed coffee....
Working across the road from this place and popped over for lunch, I can guarantee you've never seen a place like this, awesome atmosphere and the staff were really cool and seemed down to earth. Ticked all the boxes for me, will be dragging my partner out here to check it out when I get the chance
Despite its fairly basic setting or atmosphere, a great little coffee shop and a far cry from 'chain' cafes. Efficient, welcoming staff and HOT coffee, eg 6 of us served before some of us had even sat down - socially distant of course. Constant stream of customers on a cold, wet day and so glad

This morning I had a ripper takeaway long black from here. I drink a lot of coffee, mostly my own secret recipe which is way nicer than most professional coffees. But this one this morning was head and shoulders above anything I've bought for ages. It was what I always want from a professional coffe
Delightful coffee stop, a little basic, but cheerful staff and really nice coffee.
As a horse lover, missing my equine fix, the prescence of horses was an added bonus.
Good coffee and amazing use of this type of space. Worth a look for something unusual to sit in and sip a nice coffee.
Friendly service and lovely food. There is food suitable for vegetarians too. The staff member was very kind and gave my hot chocolate extra hot blast.
Nice relaxed little cafe. Highly recommend the iced coffee with a touch of vanilla syrup. Why don't more places do this?
I know how you feel Nic, but I have no sympathy. I have suffered from the "Ethiopian-coffee-only" bug for many years now. You just have to learn to live with it and hope that Upshot can continue to supply you for the forseeable future. And the way they roast it is the icing on the cake.
Great place for horse loves. Can visit then .Sit and have great coffee . Not a large food choice. Lovely staff.
Cracking coffee and uber casual but super cool set up in a container by riding school. Pull up at the door for a speedy take away or stick around for tasty treats in the yard
